Good morning Cafe. Thinking of you today Ginger as you have your surgery. Also all three of those truck paintings are so cute. I would have no way of guessing which is yours. I love them all! We will wait to hear from you when you are feeling better. It seems like we all agree about the traffic. It’s just terrible these days. Today is my volunteer day so I am off in about an hour. I hope everyone has a great and sober day!

Good luck today Ginger, the whole gang is rooting for you! I'm also going with the one in the middle lol.
Vegreville doesn't have much traffic either Jude, but the highway is a different story altogether, especially with winter driving.
I have a Kindle as well Rava, I do enjoy using it for reading but still enjoy turning the pages on a paper book.
Not a bad idea to look into getting a Kindle dill, especially if you do a lot of reading like I do. I keep thinking I should get a membership to our public library though.
If we didn't have so much snow to shovel Mulburry I'd probably just stick with the regular snow shovel. But with the long double driveway, sidewalks in the yard front, side, and back, plus the street sidewalk, not to mention that I usually end up doing the street sidewalks for 3 of our neighbors, it usually takes me over an hour to get it all done. I'm sure I'll end up using the regular shovel on a few occasions as I'm not sure how the electric one will handle the -30 to -35 weather that we get.
No snow to shovel this morning, but we're supposed to get more throughout the day and overnight tonight. Snow forecasted for throughout Wednesday and Thursday then finally clearing off. But then the temps start to plummet, looks like more than a few days of bitter cold headed our way.
Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

Ginger, Hope you are in recovery and that your recuperation is quick and as painless as possible!
Rava and Jude, I will look into a Kindle but not sure I need to have one. I'm very pleased with the way the Libby app works on my phone. Next time I'm at the library I'll talk with the librarians and ask their opinion of best ways to access audio books. I never actually sit and read much anymore because I like to keep moving while I listen to my books... Also, I really like the Bluetooth air buds that work with my iPhone. So, I'm pretty well satisfied with my current set up.
Cowboy, do you listen to audio books? Oh my gosh, speaking of the public library, the other thing I get from there are DVD's and just recently I got The Revenant with Leonardo DiCaprio. What a great movie! I was thinking it might be one you maybe would like. Some of it is pretty tough to watch though. I guess a lot of it was filmed in Alberta. You might have already known that.
Hey Mul, if you don't have a big area to shovel, perhaps you are right that you would be better off with a regular snow shovel. You're right that it is a good way to get exercise!
Not today.
Dill
Dont forget, you can: start late, start over, be unsure, try and fail AND STILL SUCCEED!
If it is important to you, you will find a way. If not, you will find an excuse.

Ginger, hope that everything went well with your surgery yesterday. I think that down the road you'll be glad that you had it done.
More snow on the way here but at least the bitter cold is easing up a bit, at least for now.
Mr. J's niece is coming to visit for a few days and I'm looking forward to it.
Waves to all!
24 more please...
