Peachie, I'll be 70 soon and I definitely understand what you're saying! While I was down with my bad knee, all I wanted to do was veg and isolate. I'm starting to feel more like myself but I have a way to go before I'm back and at 70, I may never see 100 percent again. Shooting for 90 percent.

ABC, hubby takes care of his dinner these days, which includes meat. He got into the habit and likes it so who am I to take away his enjoyment! Lol

Jude, I'm glad you're planning your trip to the Cape. Doesn't having something to look forward to improve your mood? It sure does mine!

We got in another hike yesterday. My new goal is 5 miles but I doubt I reach that before summer. Baby steps with these knee replacements!

Dill, enjoy that warmer weather! Hi Rava and Mul.

Headed back today. Its been a great trip. Cyrus has been a good boy. I love that cat so much! I'll join you in another day of freedom!

Cowboy, yes it's my sister that had cancer and she's doing great! She has found a beautiful house on the beach in Cape Cod and we are renting it for a week in August. I can't wait!

Yes Peachie, I know exactly how you feel. It's hard to get motivated on most days and I tire so easily. I know that part of the problem is due to living in a cold and snowy area and I'm hoping that I'll have more energy when the warmth of Spring finally gets here.

Rava, have fun on your thrift shop adventure today. It sounds like you have a pretty active life down there in Florida and I think that it's great. You definitely have no trouble staying busy!

Waves to Ginger, dill, Mul and Al!

Hope you got home safe and sound Ginger and I'd say your knee is coming along just fine. I'll get you'll reach your goal sooner than you think.

Enjoy the thrifting and visiting today Rava, you ladies will probably fill that bus with all the buying you do lol.

I don't get out and about much in the winter Peachie and it does get to me after a while. It's much better when winter's over and there's lots to do outside.

Glad to hear your sister id doing so good Jude, and I'll bet she's just as excited about the get together in August as well.

We'll be a long time before we see our snow gone dill, as a matter of fact it sounds like we have lots of snow coming next week again.

Probably just watch some Olympics this morning then I'll go out this afternoon to get a Valentine's card and gift for Bubba. Hard to believe we're almost halfway through February already!

Greetings all! Made it back safe and sound. Little sis will be here in two weeks. Can't wait to see her!

Rava, have a great time today! Jude, your trip sounds amazing. It's so fun to have a trip to look forward to.

Hi Peachie, Dill, ABC and Mul.

              Not today!

Glad you made it back safe and sound, Ginger!

I look forward to hearing how your bus trip went, Rava. I'll bet it was lots of fun. Did Mr. R go too or is thrift store shopping not his thing?

Bubba is a lucky gal, Cowboy!

Jude, I've been low energy lately too, but my hemoglobin count is a bit low, so maybe that's why. I just had some labs done earlier this week. But, it could just be the cabin fever. Spring weather could be just the ticket!

                Hiya, Peachie!

                Hey Mul and E3!

Closing in on the end of the puzzle project. I haven't stopped to count the pieces remaining, but I'd estimate we are 90% of the way to completion. It's been a really great winter pass time for the two of us!

24 more for all of us here, please and thank you.

                Dill

Dill, I'm about half way through the puzzle that I got for Christmas. It's a snow scene so there are a lot of white pieces which can be overwhelming and I tend to get frustrated. Maybe next time I'll find an easier puzzle. 🙂

Ginger, that's wonderful about your sister's upcoming visit and I'm sure that both of you will have a great time. I do miss my sisters and I wish that they lived closer.

Cowboy, Mr. J and I don't exchange gifts or cards on Valentine's day but we usually go out to a nice restaurant to celebrate the holiday.

Rava, hope that you had fun on your thrift shop adventure. It's great that you have so much to do in Florida, and it must keep you pretty busy.

Hi everyone. Fell asleep on the couch again last night. LOL. It's getting to be a regular occurrence lately. My neck is sore tho.

Jude, a snow filled puzzle? Omg noooo.

Rava, I love thrift shops. We call them Op Shops over here. I can get lost for ages in them. Have found some doozy deals too. Best pair of boots I've ever found.

My elder sister has just called me from A & E . She has not been well since Wednesday with dizziness and vomiting. She is 500 ks away and lives on her own since her hubby died. Anyway I've offered to fly up there ASAP if she needs me to. She is 77yrs. Very independent woman but has had some stresses lately.

Sorry, just a bit distracted tonight. I'm sure she will be ok. Will let you know tommorow.

                    Night night.

Good morning Cafe. Yesterday was a 12 hour trip from start to finish. Such a great time. Lots of fun and laughter. All women. One thing that very very prominent is the amount of drinking on that bus. The women had lots of alcohol flowing. I was not tempted at all and was rather surprised at how many were drinking. Puts a whole new perspective on bus trips. I am just mad at myself that I can not participate because I am not responsible. I wonder how many of them are responsible. Anyway. Jude, so glad you are planning a trip. I am sure that will keep your thoughts occupied other than a white snow puzzle. LOL. Ginger, glad you are safely home and looking forward to your sisters visit. Dill, hope you get that hemoglobin level up. Once it comes back your energy level will hopefully improve. Cowboy, Bubba is lucky that you get her a card and gift. We don’t do that but it’s ok. I am used to it by now. Peachie, i hope you make it to your bed tonight as you dont need to add to your neck issues. I hope your sister is ok. Today is mahjong so I am happy to have something to do. 24 more please and thank you.

I remember when I drove charter bus Rava, there was always lots of drinking on the bus. It usually didn't get out of hand though unless it was a college student trip or a pub crawl.

Hope your neck is better today Peachie, I can get one as well if I sleep on my pillow when it's folded, makes for an unpleasant day. How is your sister feeling today?

Anytime a puzzle has a bunch of one color makes it more difficult and frustrating Jude, just keep at it and the pieces will fit in eventually.

Waves to the rest of the gang!

Peachie, I'm sending positive thoughts your sister's way. If you can afford the trip, get there. Life is short. When did you last see her?

Jude, when I get to solid colors, I sort them all by shape. You'll start to see where the shapes fit after a bit.

ABC, I don't recall your driving a party bus. Is there anything you can't do?

Rava, what a fun trip. Did you find any treasures?

Dill, I hope you get to the bottom of the low hemoglobin. Keep us posted!

                            Hey Mul.

I'll gladly join you all in another day of freedom!

Rava, that sounds like a fun time! I think a trip like that is better sober, but that's just me. Since I can't moderate, it would just not be good! I'm glad you enjoyed yourself regardless.

Peachie, sorry your sister is unwell. Definitely go, if she needs you.

Jude, a snowscape would definitely be a challenge! You may be working you way through it even into the summer months.

Ginger, I sometimes think you would make a good Occupational Therapist. You seem to be a natural and figuring out ways to accomplish tasks.

Cowboy, Mr. D and I don't do any gifts or cards anymore on Valentines Day. Like, Jude, we usually just do something together, or go to a restaurant we both enjoy. Like I said, Bubba is a lucky gal!

Last evening we attended the Hish School Concert and had the pleasure of watching all the music the students perform. Our gdaughter is in the choir. I really enjoyed the evening.

Hiya still waiting to hear back from Mary. She had a CAT scan and I promised to wait up til she got the results. Might have to take my phone to bed but that's OK.
. l just had a very garbled message from her. Sorry so late at night but had to tell someone. I spoke to the nurse on her ward who said she was OK. Still vomiting.
