Ginger, that is really wonderful that your sister has maintained sobriety for over a year now! You and both of your sisters are an inspiration to me! As for the why of my slip, it just happened and without much thought. Old habits die hard and the place I used to buy wine is on my drive home from the volunteer job. It was like a magnet to me that day. I'm going to go back to using a different route home for awhile. I guess bottom line is, it was an "f" it moment.
Peachie, it might be good for you to visit with Emma, and good for her, too. But perhaps the travel is too much. If that's the case, there's always the phone or facetime.
Rava, after my slip I felt fine physically. It's the mental/emotional effect that is tough on me. Alcohol is a depressant, to be sure.

Lil sis will travel home with us the end of March. We are taking the longer way home so she can see several national parks in Utah. She's great fun to travel with and hubby seems to enjoy her company too.
