I'll bet you'll all be glad to get home Ginger after all that driving! But at least your sister got to see some amazing places.

You've still got lots of time before you leave Rava, maybe things will have improved at the airports by then and you'll be able to fly.

I used to always come up with a prank or two on April Fool's Day Jude, but haven't done anything for a few years now lol.

Sounds like the word is getting around the cat neighborhood that your place is the place to be Peachie lol. Hopefully you'll be able to book a seat and get down to see Emma this coming weekend, and on Easter no less.

Spring hasn't really arrived up here yet dill, the nights are still well below freezing and only get to around freezing during the day. There's still a lot of snow to melt away so it's definitely not going to be an early spring. The next-door neighbor said he saw a pair of geese the other day but I have yet to see one.

Off to Costco this morning to stock up on a few things that we're running out of, hopefully it won't be crazy busy with Easter weekend coming up.

Evening everyone. Oh Rava id have loved to have seen that video. How cute!
Jude, goodness knows what's happening out there with the cats. Lol. Got me bamboozled that's for sure but the more cats the better I say.
Dill I have a girlfriend who comes and stays with my cats if I go away. She adores them. Only planning on a four day stay. Now my niece has let me know she will be in town for Easter and would love to catch up! Aarrgh.
Ginger hope you're home safe and sound. I once drove across Australia West to East..about 3,000klms by myself with a little camper trailer. Loved it but I don't think I could do it now.
Cowboy sure hope your weather warms up soon. Brrrr your weather literally makes me shiver.
Will let you know if I go or stay. Haha.
Our local shire had a post this morning of a big lion in one of it's rangers vans asking for the owner to come forward. April Fools Day joke. There were many hilarious replies . That's my little Winkie was one of them..Made me giggle..

      Night everybody.

Made it! Place is great and HUGE after 5 months in a 5th wheel. Dill, you are right, there's no place like home!

ABC, we have a Costco trip planned, ASPA. Our cupboards are bare!

I'm hoping to get back in the swing of things quickly because I watch our great grands tomorrow for mom to get her hair done.

Sorry, but the cute kitty and friends is AI. Here's one with an AZ background. So cute though!

Peachie, I hope you get to go on your adventure. Now to decide!

I have "jet" lag from the driving. Lol Tomorrow will be better! Our new rock wall looks amazing!

        Hey, Jude!

Sorry, I'm all over the place this morning! I'll take another day of freedom with you all.

          Good morning all!

Yesterday I heard the peepers (tree frogs) singing out back. Love the sound of them and it's a sure sign of Spring.

Ginger, I bet that you're so glad to be home. Is your sister going to stay with you for awhile or is she heading home?

Rava, so glad that your new tea habit is keeping you away from the booze. It seems as though it's easier for you to stay sober when you're up north. Keep up the good work!

Waves to Cowboy, Peachie, Mul and dill!

          24 more please...

Evening Cafe. Getting in before my soapie starts.
Jude, we actually have crickets that sound like frogs here. I remember when I first heard them looking around for a pond.

So glad you're home safe and sound Ginger.

Have left it too late to go away now. No Coach tickets available at all. I don't mind. Probably leave it now til after the school hols when it's less busy.

Actually had a pat with the little black kitty this morning but then it disappeared with Patches in tow.

The weather has definitely turned. Lovely cool nights but temperate days. This would be perfect all year round.

Good Friday tomorrow so wishing you all a Happy Easter filled with peace, sobriety and kindness. And chocolate!

            Night.

That's too bad about your trip Peachie, but maybe you can get in that visit with your niece now. Hard to believe Easter is here already!

Glad your home safe and sound Ginger! What's this about a new rock wall? Your kids don't take long to get you back into babysitting duties do they lol.

It's crazy what they are doing with AI Rava, not sure what you can trust anymore to be real and not AI generated.

I don't think our frogs or gophers will be out for quite some time Jude, but I did finally see my first geese yesterday so that's a good sign that soring is just around the corner for us.

Did you get your storm yesterday dill? I'm glad I went to Costco yesterday as we're supposed to get 2 - 4" of snow tday/tonight.

Bubba is usually the one who does the grocery shopping so I don't get to see grocery prices except in the flyers that come. I sure got my eyes opened at Costco yesterday! I can't believe how much the prices have gone up, especially on coffee. I can see a decrease in my coffee drinking in the very near future.

                Not today...

Good morning Cafe. Ginger, yes that was the picture. Damn AI!!! Can’t believe anything anymore. I am glad you are home safely and yes I can relate to your place being so big after living in the RV. We are just the opposite going back into the tiny home. LOL. Jude, you are right about harder to stay away from booze here in Florida. It is available in every store including pharmacies, grocery stores, etc. Up north you have to physically go the a beer/wine/liquor store to purchase. That definitely makes it a bit more inconvenient. Cowboy, hopefully that snow will melt soon and you will be outside in the nice warm weather. Most of our Canadian friends have left to travel home. My one friend has a 26 hour drive. OMG I am complaining about 16 hours. I will remember her as we travel north. I think we will probably have to drive because I am starting a pile of things to take north. My daughter wants my sewing machine and a few other heavy objects so we will just do it. Peachie, hope you have a good day today. Good morning to Dill and Mul. Hope everyone has a good and sober day. More mahjong for me today.

I'm a little out of sorts since getting home. I get like that after all that travel. Rava, our drive is 24 hours and I'm ready to start flying back and forth! Hubby not so much. Lol

I saw a beautiful Bald Eagle fly over yesterday. I always feel honored to see one. Jude, even though we have water all around us, we don't hear frogs. I wish we did.

ABC, we have a huge cut bank from punching out our building site. Basically a vertical dirt wall about 20 ft up to the road. Erick came in with his crew this winter and built a beautiful Boulder wall. It's gorgeous!

Peachie, I'm sorry you missed your window for your tickets but now you can have a good visit with your niece. We are going to Erick's for Easter and I'll get to see more of my babies. Yay!

Hi Dill, I can't remember. What are you guys doing for Easter?

I can't wait to see my babies today. I'll definitely need some advil. Lol My knee is great but the rest of my joints still feel 70! Lol I'll take another day!

                    My morning coffee view.. .

Late check in here because of the volunteer job. It was a good day though. When I got home Mr. D and I went out for lunch at Long John Silvers. He had a hankering for deep fried fish and hush puppies. It was delicious, I must admit.

Jude, love the sound of those peepers, too!

Ginger, on Easter we are just having a family dinner and hopefully some outdoor fun, weather permitting. I bet you loved seeing that Bald Eagle! Mr. D saw a pair circling around our pond yesterday, but I wan't there to see them. I sure wish I had.

Cowboy, we got some rain, but the storm actually petered out before it got here. I was glad about that! Did you get the 2-4" of snow?

Rava, It's going to be harder and harder to believe our eyes as AI gets better and better. It makes me kind of sad.

Peachie, sorry you missed out on getting tickets, but you'll have your day!

                      Hi Mul.

                      Not today.
