Ginger, that's great that you all live so close. Hope you have a fabulous Easter! Thanks for the beautiful picture of your view.

Actually, I hope we all have a fabulous Easter.

That's good of you to fill in, Jude. I must admit that I don't like stepping up and taking an extra day at the volunteer job. I have done it on occasion, but lately I tend to just say no, or I work out a trade arrangement with someone.

Rava, 16 hours is about how long our drive is when we visit our daughter in New Orleans. I don't know that I would do 24 either! Now that you talked about a juicy steak I can't get the idea out of my head. Looks like I need a night out at Texas Roadhouse soon.

Cowboy, glad you got off light with the snow!

    Hiya, Peachie!

24 hours of freedom for all of us here, please and thank you.

Wow Ginger, that's a wall and a half! Amazing! How long did it take to build it?

I love a good steak, and actually that's what Mr. J and I are having for Easter dinner. We are having friends over for dinner tonight and I'm making a garlic, herb roasted chicken. Should be a good time.

Please join me in another 24 hours of freedom!

Ginger, that wall is fantastic! I remember when you started it. You had the vision and followed thru. So cool!

That garlic and herb roasted chicken sounds deliciaous, Jude. I think I'll copycat you and do a scaled down version for dinner today. I have some fresh boneless, skinless chicken breasts that I'll marinate and air roast in the air fryer today.

Joining you all in another 24.

Evening Cafe. Got so into my footy teams game last night I forgot to post. We only won by 2 points so it was pretty tense here! I tend to start pacing and pop outside if the game is too close.
Wow Ginger that wall is huge. The cats that have visited are not strays. They both have collars and look very healthy and well fed. I just think they probably like social interaction with their own species. I'm pretty sure they live in my complex of 25 town houses. Mine are always home to go to bed at night so I know they're safe and sound.

Jude, you made my mouth water talking about your dinner tonight. Enjoy your dinner guests. How's your Mumma kitty doing?

Are your fuel prices rising over in your countries like ours? A poll showed that half of the people who normally travel for Easter have decided not to this year. I find that quite sad. We are also suffering from cost of living troubles too.

            Hiya to everyone.

Good morning cafe. Ginger, the wall is wonderful. What a job. It looks amazing! Thanks for explaining your travels. You are north for summer just like me. Hope everyone has a good day. I am making some side dishes for Easter. We are invited to a friends house for ham. Hope everyone has a great Saturday. 24 more please and thank you!

Now you've got me thinking about a big juicy steak Rava lol, we'll probably be having ham for Easter as well. Thankfully I was at Costco early enough and it wasn't terribly busy yet.

The roast chicken sounds delicious Jude, I'll bet everyone is going to enjoy it and can only imagine what the kitchen smells like as it's roasting.

That is some retaining wall Ginger! There's a lot of weight in rocks that had to be moved and placed. They did do a fantastic job of it.

I might pull out some chicken breasts for supper tonight as well dill, but I'll probably do them on the smoker with baby potatoes.

Fuel prices have risen sharply here as well Peachie. Vegreville still isn't too bad but surrounding places have jumped by 15 - 20%.

                  Not today...
