Rava, did you buy the card and your mahjong tiles on Amazon? If so, can you tell me what to look for on Amazon? I looked on there but there are so many different sets I wasn't sure what to order, if/when I get to that point. I can see that I need to have the tiles, etc. to try practice hands, but I don't want to buy the top dollar, just the basic.

My goodness it has been warm here this week! It doesn't seem right for mid-April. I hope we aren't in for a hot summer.

I also hope we all have an AF hump day!

I guess 30lbs does sound a bit too much weight for a cat Jude lol. I never really considered what cats should weigh as I've never had one. Sounds like it's a good time to get rid of a few things that you never use anymore while cleaning out the porch.

Sounds like it wasn't an easy thing to just up and leave like that Peachie, do you know whatever happened to the 4 wheel drive and campervan?

Sorry the fishing wasn't better Rava, maybe next time. I had to look up what Mexican Train is as I've never heard of it. Looks like another interesting game.

Yes, I'll be happy when I get the new doors installed Ginger, they've been sitting in the garage taking up space for too long lol. Adam wants me to keep one of the old ones so that he can use it for the new shed he's planning on building out at lake, so I'll have to be careful to keep all the hardware from one of them.

You can send that warm weather my way dill, I'm tired of winter already!

More exercise for me this morning, I can't believe we're still getting this much snow halfway through April, and it's supposed to continue snowing today, tonight, and tomorrow. The robin's will be turning around and headed back south lol.

Evening Cafe. Rava, I was told the Campervan was dropped at the local tip. No doubt someone got a bargain!! He did keep my car tho. Dear me, when I think back I really have no idea how I came through. My sense of injustice stood me well.
Jude, plenty more stories to tell. It helps me remember how fearless I was before the s..t hit the fan.

Well, I'm all packed for my trip tomorrow. Going to set my alarm because I take ages to wake up. Lol.

Jude, I had a fat Albert too. His name was Sam and he was all white and very big. A beautiful heart and so kind to my little girl kitties. He used to sit on my chair arm and stare into my eyes. We had a lovely relationship.

Anyhow folks better get to bed .

Good morning cafe! It's 62 degrees outside and it's so nice to be enjoying my coffee on the back porch. Looks like I'd better enjoy it now as next week looks to be colder with snow showers. Ugh...

Sounds like we have opposite weather Jude lol. It's -10C (15F) here this morning and light snow falling. Next week though we're supposed to get up to 21C (72F) during the day and stay above freezing overnight. It looks like winter will finally be on the way out.

This weather! Seems we are all experiencing crazy stuff. It's so windy here, it's hard to be outside! Even the birds are having a hard time flying!

Good afternoon Cafe. Late check in for me because I got to scrolling on my ipad and totally forgot to check in. Peachie, I am glad you made it safe and sound. Ginger, it sound like you better hold onto your hat to keep from flying away. And Cowboy, that snow is going to eventually stop right??? Jude, I hope you enjoy that warmer weather while you can! Dill, I got the card from the National Mahjong League. They are online. You can also get some cheap tiles from Hobby Lobby they are 29.00. Amazon tiles are totally fine but you want to get ones that you can clearly read. All those fancy ones can be confusing. I will send a screen shot of what I have in another text. I am afraid when I sign out of here I will lose all of this. So it’s coming in another post. Hope everyone has a great and sober day.

Thank you, Rava. I got your private message. Those tiles are just perfect for learning the game. I don't think I would have found them without your help. Alternatively, I may go see what our local Hobby Lobby store has in stock. Thanks so much! I would have replied to you directly in Messages, but I am embarrassed to say, I couldn't figure out how! LOL
