Hmmmm I've never run snow tires on my vehicles. Maybe ignorance is bliss in my case! ABC, we may skip spring and go right into summer. Weekend temps in the 90s! WTH?

Dill, I'm sorry that happened. Dang it! Glad you're back and the wine is gone.

Rava, such good hubby news. Hope dr thinks so too. Goodluck today!

Jude, have you ever had trouble with infections before or is this finger a one off?

Peachie, hope your team rallied and they woke up winners. I love having conversations with Cyrus. We can go on with our back and forth for several minutes before he bores of it. Lol They are such good company.

I wonder what Mulberry is up to. Check in if you can.

Off to exercise then out to baby sit g-grands for gdaughter to work a few hours. Ill be pooped tonight!

      Good morning all!

Rava, so glad that Mr. R is doing better! Does he mind eating low sodium foods?

Peachie, my cats talk to me all of the time and I often have extended conversations with them. They all mean so much to me and I don't know what I would do without them. I guess that I need them as much as they need me.

Dill, happy belated birthday! Sorry that you slipped, but I get it. I used to justify my drinking by saying, it's Christmas or my birthday, I deserve this. There's a line in a song that says, "one is too many, one more is never enough." Pretty well sums it up. Put it behind you and don't look back.

Cowboy, glad that you're finally getting some nice weather. It's 35 degrees out with rain expected later. There are even frost warnings out for the next couple of nights. Where is Spring???

The Kentucky derby is being run today and I look forward to watching it every year. There is a horse running the race named So Happy and I hope that he wins just because I love the name.

      Waves to Ginger and Mul!

24 more for all of us please...

Jude, I took the lyric and searched it. It's from a Kenny Chesney song, 2011. I litened to it and loved it it. It sounds like Kenny Chesney may have had some experience.... Yes, I will just move forward. The other direction is a dead end!

Cowboy and Ginger, thanks for the encouraging words.

Rava, I too am wondering how Mr. R feels about the low sodium diet. I bet it's just something to get used to.

        Hiya Peachie!

        Not today.

Evening Cafe. Happy belated birthday Dill! You are a champion for getting back on the wagon. You put it so well when you talked about the dead end. Ugh.

Jude, I am currently in a long conversation with Patches, who is strongly making a case to go outside again right now. No way I told her but she's still voicing her complaints. Lol. She definitely has the art of filthy looks! Even Zorro has started talking to me.

My team won last night! Just.

Ginger hope you survived your babysitting yesterday. During school holidays here I see lots of grandparents with their grandchildren. There faces range from joy to abject tiredness. Haha.

Hi to everyone and enjoy your weekend. We are in for a lovely sunny week here. My clothes are getting dizzy being put away and dragged out again.

I'll have to look that song up as well dill. Kenny Chesney is one of my favorite singers, check out his song "If You're Going Through Hell".

I haven't watched a horse race in ages Jude, I might have to have a quick watch and cheer on So Happy as well!

We're getting some pretty nice weather as well Ginger, but they are forecasting a bit of a cooling trend for next week.

Waves to the rest of the gang!

Got a bit more yardwork to do today then everything here should be set for summer. Bubba has a bit of work to do in her flower beds but she has lots of time as it's too early to think about planting flowers.

Good morning Cafe. Happy Belated birthday Dill. Messing up is ok as long as you get right back on the wagon. I feel ya because I slip up more than I would like to and sometimes for absolutely no reason other than thinking I can do it. UGH. If we compare our drinking now to before we came on this site, that is a huge difference. I would say we are mostly sober most of the time. Today I am eating Mexican with a bunch of drinking friends. I am getting a Diet Coke and not going down the margarita hole. Mr. R is determined to follow his low salt diet and no alcohol even tho he hardly ever drinks. Low sodium diet is going well and the doc appointment went well. So hopefully this is keep moving forward in a good direction. Jude, how is that finger doing? I hope you are able to split those pills to help with swallowing them. Ginger, it’s so good that you can babysit those great grands. I don't think I would have the energy for that. Hi to Peachie and Cowboy. We are supposed to get some rain this weekend. Hope everyone has a great and sober day. 24 more please and thanks.

I survived but not without the help of Papa. If hubby hadn't joined me, I'm not sure I would have! My problem is baby Ben. He just turned 1 and still needs to be picked up and carried. He's HUGE! Like really big for his age. He's almost the same size as his almost 3yo sister! It kills my back. Other than that, it was great! We played outside the entire day. Mom and dad are now talking about one more! Oh lord Middle son and wife left this morning for a trip to Charleston for their 20th wedding anniversary. We are on "teenager duty" until Friday! Not sure but that may be harder. Lol

ABC, you made quick work of sprucing up that yard!

Waves to all my Cafe peeps and talking cats. Love me some felines!

I'll join you all in another day of freedom!

                    Good morning cafe!

Rava, the finger has started to feel better and the swelling is beginning to go down. Thanks for asking... Three more weeks of antibiotics ought to do the trick I think. Fingers crossed.

Dill, I also love that song by Kenny Chesney, and like you, I wonder if he did have a problem with alcohol. It sure does affect a lot of people, even those with lots of money and talent.

Well, my horse didn't win the derby, but it was an exciting race. The horse that won was almost last at the start of the race, but made an amazing comeback and actually won!

We have started clearing out the porch so that it can be torn down and a new one built. It was a bear moving the freezer with just Mr.J, his niece and I but we got it done . Phew!

Waves to Ginger, Cowboy, Peachie and Mul!

Cowboy, I would like to hear the song you recommended but couldn't find "If You're Going Through Hell", by Kenny Chesney. I like Kenny Chesney alot, too!

Jude, I meant to watch the Derby but I was just a few minutes too late turning on the TV and missed it. I watched the exciting finish this morning though. It was really something! I'm very glad your finger is getting better.

Ginger, you are so blessed with that growing family of yours! It's wonderful! Baby Ben sounds like an armful,

Rava, I was just talking with a friend about Margueritas the other day and how much I used to love them back in the day. In the end I pretty much quit going to Mexican restaurants because I needed to avoid them. I was able to start going again but only lunch hours at first. Now I'm fine with going to Mexican restaurants and I'm glad. I like Mexican food!

                      Hiya, Peachie!

Not much on here. I'll just wait for Cowboy's breakfast and then see what the day brings. Coffee's on!

Good morning Cafe and thank you for breakfast Cowboy. Love pancakes and bacon! Just wanted to say that we had a great Mexican lunch with diet cokes. After eating we went to a neighbors house and played Mexican Train Dominos. That game is so much fun. Another thing to teach the grands this summer. We leave in exactly 1 week. Ginger, you are a busy lady. I think the teens might be harder because they are smarted! LOL. Hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday. I am hoping for some rain today. 24 more please and thank you.

Sorry about that dill, I got my singers mixed up. Rodney Atkins sings "If You're Going Through Hell". It's still a good listen though. Thanks for getting the coffee on!

I watched the race Jude, that was quite a race to start last and end first! I'm amazed that the 3 of you were able to get the deep freeze moved, those things are heavy! Sounds like it's going to get a bit noisy around your place in the near future.

The yard here isn't that big Ginger so it doesn't take long lol. Not many families are that big anymore, would that make it 4 for them? Good luck with the teenagers haha.

It's nice to hear that Mr R is taking his health seriously Rava, I'm sure you want him sticking around for a lot more years!

When does winter season usually settle in for good Peachie, although I don't imagine it's anything like our winters.

Not much on my agenda today. Adam and Darcie are stopping in for a coffee on their way to Vermilion this morning and that will probably be my excitement for the day haha.
