    Breakfast/supper is ready!

Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

Cleaning up after demolition is always the yucky part Jude. Just be careful when tearing down so nobody gets hurt. You keep working on Mr J and you'll be a foster momma before you know it lol.

Hope the driving went good Rava and you get home safely today. was the hotel room okay?

Hope you had a good day with Michael Peachie and enjoyed the day as best you could.

I guess since the water will be sitting stale in the tanks for that long then UV isn't a bad idea Ginger, better to be safe when it comes to bacteria.

Any plans for Mothers Day dill, your son and gkids coming over?

My first full day on the drill went pretty good, just takes some getting used to. At least I didn't get stuck, hit a tree, or rip out any fence posts lol. I'll take some pics and vids when I get a chance.

Good morning Cafe. Thanks for the wonderful breakfast Cowboy and Happy Mother’s Day to the cafe moms. Jude, your demolition sounds exhausting. Hope all goes well. Our hotel room was very nice. We stayed at a home 2 suites and it was clean and very quiet. Just hit the road again and we have 9 hours to go. Hope everyone has a good and sober Mother’s Day. 24 more please and thank you.

ABC, working the fields and still putting out this beautiful Mom Day spread! You be da man! Invite Bubba to join us.

Jude, I'm sure you can wear hubby down! I'm so glad mama kitty is better. As for that porch demolition, aren't there some strong high school boys that could help? I'm exhausted just thinking about a project like that. You must be a lot younger than me!

Rava, I'm happy you only have 9 hours left to go. If you're like me, you're already thinking about the work you're facing to open your place back up!

Peachie, I'm glad the day is behind you and you enjoyed your visit with Michael. As always, thinking of you.

Hey Dill, are you doing anything for Mother's Day?

My oldest is having a barbecue but I'm under the weather with a respiratory bug I picked up from the cherubs. Headed to urgent care as soon as they open to have them check my lungs and hopefully give me a script for cough medicine. I just need it at night so I can get some rest! Oh the hazards of small children. Lol They are worth it all!

Mulberry, hope you're hanging with your Mom today.

I'll join you all for another day of freedom!

Thank you for that absolutely divine Mother's Day spread, Cowboy! You are amazing! I'm glad your first day on the new equipment went so well. Always a blessing to not "get stuck, hit a tree, or rip out any fence posts"!

                Happy Mother's Day, Ladies!

No, plans here for Mother's Day, except for my son and gkids stopping by for a bit and I expect a call from my daughter. But that's about it! All in all a good day, as I am footloose and fancy-free for most of it.

Ginger, I hope you bounce back. Unfortunate hazard of having littles....

Rava, glad your travels are going so well. Hope it continues that way.

Jude, you have some work ahead but it will pay off eventually.

Peachie, I'm sure Michael understood. He probably feels the grief too and is the best person to share it with.

                Not today...
                Dill

Dont forget, you can: start late, start over, be unsure, try and fail AND STILL SUCCEED!

If it is important to you, you will find a way. If not, you will find an excuse.

Wow, I can't believe it's been a month since I've been on here. I hope everyone is well (or as well as can be)!
We've had an incredible string of nice and pleasant spring-like weather and of course there NHL playoff games on every day now, so my "witching hours" have been full to the brim!

Mulberry, hope you're hanging with your Mom today
I'm in Vancouver at the moment so not in person unfortunately but sent her an email full of photos of the flowers and blossoms I've taken over the last couple of months, and had a good half hour phone convo today! Happy Mothers day to all the mothers on here as well!

                      Good morning cafe!

Mul, glad to see you back!

Peachie, I have thought about just sneaking the Mama cat in. Do you think that the hubby would know it?

Ginger, I wish that we had young people to help us with the cleanup after we knock the porch down but there aren't many of them around here. Looks like we'll have to rely on our "old" friends to help out. Hope that you are feeling better today.

                      Waves to all!

                      Not today...

Hi everybody. Mul good to see you back!
Jude, maybe you could pretend momma cat was just a stray who wondered in!! Lol. Now I'm being a bad influence.

Beautiful day weather-wise. Up to 27degrees and 28 tomorrow. Just lovely.

Ginger, hope you're feeling better today. Littlies are always spreading their bugs to everyone.
Rava, hope you're home safe and sound.
Dill hope you enjoyed your footloose day yesterday.

Cowboy hope no mishaps today. I think you are very clever driving those machines. I swear there would not be one tree or fence standing if I had to do that. Lol.

Whoops 8 minutes to my soapie.

Night everyone, have a great day.

Hopefully things went well at Urgent Care Ginger and you got whatever medication you needed. Not the nicest place or way to spend Mothers Day.

Sometimes the older people are better to have around for that kind of work Jude, we tend to be a bit more careful than the younger generation. But having some young people to haul the debris away would be nice.

Great to see you again Mulburry. I see your hockey team is doing very well in the playoffs, not the case for my team lol. Maybe next year.

I see you have a new avatar pic Peachie but I'm having trouble seeing what it is. Guess my old eyes aren't what they used to be lol.

I'm presuming you made it safely to your home up north Rava, now comes the work of getting settled in.

Sounds like you had a nice Mothers Day dill, some visiting and some relaxation.

Fingers crossed that things keep running as smoothly in the field as they have been, just keep moving from field to field and go back and forth and round and round lol.

Good morning Cafe. Home Sweet Home. We arrrived around 7:30 pm. It was still light out and we basically unloaded the car and threw everything on the spare bed. Today the work begins. I am so thankful to be here safely and that is a long ride. Ginger I hope you got your cough medicine and are feeling better today. Jude, What’s one more cat?? Mr. J Might not even care as much as you think. I also hope you find someone to help remove the debris. Cowboy, thank you for the video. Your tractor is very high tech!!!. Hi to Dill and Peachie. Thanks for dropping in Mul. Wishing everyone a great and sober Monday. I am thankful to be away from wine in grocery stores and pharmacies. 24 more please and thank you.
