Glad you are home safe and sound, Rava. The ride sounds grueling, but it's all better now...

Ginger, I hope you're feeling better.

Cowboy, that was great being in the cab of that awesome machiine with you!

Jude, vet bills being what they are, one more cat might break the bank. It's hard to accept our limitations, but as you know you will get attached if you foster...maybe Mr. J has a point.

Mul, it's great to see you! Your name has been mentioned here several times in your absence. You were missed!

Mother Nature kindly provided a perfect day as a backdrop to my footloose and fancy-free attitude on Mother's Day. We all had a really good, light-hearted visit and my daughter called right smack in the middle of it so we all got to chat with her. Perfect! Mr. D and I watched the classice film, "I Remember Mama" in the evening. We both enjoyed it greatly.

    Not today...

Oh, Peachie! I forgot to mention I am happy you have a new avatar. The old one always made me feel like you were in the CIA's "Witness Protection Program"! But like Cowboy, I am having trouble making out what the picture is. Old eyes.

        Good morning!

Trip to urgent care was in and out. Dr said it's just a cold but did give a script for cough med. Slept a little better last night. I'm going to try to exercise today. Then it's home to pack for my sister trip. Looking forward to sister time! We are going to Leavenworth. It's a cute little town with an interesting back story, if you want to look it up.

Dill, you M-day sounds perfect. Glad everything synced up with your daughters call. Where is she again. I don't recall.

Rava, glad you're there safe and sound! I sure wish AL wasn't so "in your face" around here! It is in both places we live. We get lots of practice ignoring it!

Mul, thank you for checking in! Glad you've been enjoying this gorgeous weather. Same here.

ABC, I could listen to that accent all day! Thank you for sharing.

Peachie, what is the name of the soapie you watch? I'm always looking for something to watch when I ride my stationary bike. Years ago, I watched one filmed in Australia that I really enjoyed. I really missed the characters when it ended. It was call Offspring. Do you know that one?

Jude, mama kitty needs you. No pressure. Lol

Yikes I better get going! I'll take another!

          Good morning cafe!

Peachie, love the new avatar! Is that one of your cats?

Well, yesterday I filled out a foster application for the mama kitty. Do you guys think I should just bring her home? I talked with the shelter president and she said that all vet care expenses, flea meds etc. are covered while being fostered. All that I want to do is get her out of a cage at the rescue and give her a soft landing while she waits for a permanent home. I know that if I kept her I wouldn't be able to foster another cat, which is what I hope to do in the future. Sigh...

Cowboy, loved the video! Wow, that's some fancy rig you're driving! I can imagine that kind of equipment has a pretty high price tag.

Rava, glad that you made it to your tiny house up north. I sure hope that it's warmer than here as it's only 30 degrees out this morning. Brrr!

Ginger, glad that you are feeling better. Your sister trip sounds like it will be a lot of fun. How far away does your sister live? I miss my sisters and wish that they lived closer.

Dill, so glad that you had a great Mother's day and that the weather cooperated.

          Hey Mul!

          Not today...

Good Morning Cafe. Jude, I am happy for you about Momma Cat. I hope you are able to provide a soft landing for her while she waits for a permanent home. Ginger, glad you are feeling a bit better and got some cough meds. Hope you have a wonderful trip with your sisters. Dill, Nice that you had a good Mother’s Day and watched a movie with Mr. D. Mr. R and I watched that Netflix movie about the octopus with Sally Field. It was good and we enjoyed it. Hi to Cowboy and Peachie and Mul. Hope everyone has a good and sober day. I am off to exercise class where I have missed my ladies! 24 more please and thank you.

Enjoy your time with your sisters Ginger, I know how much you love the time you spend with them.

Sounds like you're right back into the swing of things at your tiny home Rava, next it will be family time for you I'm sure.

Sounds like fostering is a pretty good deal as far as expenses go Jude, but do you think you could give her up after having her in your home? I think the new drill and air cart was close to $380,000, not too bad if you consider the cost of other farm machinery lol.

Waves to dill, Peachie, and Mulburry.

Moving right along with seeding one field after another. We finished the peas last night so we'll be switching to barley this morning. Have a great day y'all!

Evening Cafe. Jude, you got the avatar! Yay. Yep that is Patches, my baby, well Rosie's baby. Well done. When I was first mucking around with doing it all I got was the pink blanket! Confused even myself. Maybe just bring momma Kitty home as a foster and take it from there. I sure understand you wanting to get her out of the cage.

Ginger, I loved Offspring too. I also get attached to the characters. Home and Away is the one I watch now. It has been on Aussie TV nigh on 40yrs. Maybe look at the more recent seasons if you're interested. Enjoy your sister time. I will definitely look up the place you're going to.

I'll be back in half an hour to finish my post. If it's still here!!

Well I pressed some buttons and here I am.

                  Cowboy, happy seeding.

Rava enjoy your time settling in again.

Actually got myself out today. Got on the bus down to the big shops. Westfield shopping centre. First time I've been out and about since my trip away. Thoroughly enjoyed myself.Felt very good about making the effort.

                  Night everyone.

Jude, I think you should do what feels right to you regarding the foster vs adoption. It sounds like you really feel compelled to spring her from that cage!!

Ginger, my daughter is in New Orleans. Talk about Al being in your face, New Orleans is the epitome! Hard for me when we go there. I'll google Leavenworth later today. Sounds interesting and I've never been there.

Waves to Rava, Peachie, Cowboy and Mul!

                    Not today.

Jude, I agree with Peaches. Bring MK home and just play it by ear. If some sweet family comes along, I bet you'd be happy to let her go. If not, cross that bridge then. My sisters both live very close to me so we see each other all the time. Im blessed!

Peaches, I'll see if I can find Home and Away. The Aussie accent mesmerizes me. Thanks! I'm so glad you felt up to getting out today.

Rava, enjoy your exercise today! Good for you getting right back at it.

ABC, glad things are moving along uneventfully.

                      Hi Dill and Mul!

                      I'll take another!

Shoot! Peachie, Home and Away isn't available in the US without setting up a virtual private network and tricking 7Plus into thinking I'm in Australia.
