Hi everyone. Our sunny weather coming to an end tomorrow with showers forecast but can't complain. We've had a glorious week.

An update on Zorro. He is always here in the garden when we all wake up! Just staring in the window plaintively. Aww. I'm afraid I just chase him off. He doesn't return all day. It really hurts my heart to do it but my girls come first and I certainly don't want anymore fights. Hopefully he'll forget they're here as the cooler wet weather sets in.

Ginger sorry to hear about you not being able to watch Home and Away. I know it's huge in the UK but obviously they have a deal with us. I looked up Leavenworth. Looks a quaint place with lots of German history. We have something similar in the South Australian hills called Hahndorf. It was a favourite place of mine when I camped near by. Lots of Bavarian history and lots of wineries around. Founded by lots of European settlers when Australia was first settled by immigrants from far and wide. Enjoy.

Hope you get a break today Cowboy. I so understand that!

Dill enjoy the gym again today. I'm planning on starting my sit down dancing on Friday.

Cowboy, I regret to say that I have not been to New Orleans since Covid. We went yearly before that. But due to various things, some health issues for instance, we haven't travelled much at all. Luckily, our daughter and grandson have come here at least once a year. I told Mr. D that I really want to go and see their home. They have moved since the last time we were there. My daughter is remarried to a wonderful man who comes with 3 children so now they have a family of 6! They are a lovely family. They've been married a couple of years now and they live on Lake Ponchetrain.

Jude, New Orleans is an interesting place and I like many things about it, but truly, alcohol is ubiquitous. And the heat and humidity is too much as well!

Good morning Cafe. Great day yesterday introducing Mahjong to our tiny home community. 6 ladies showed up and we slowly played a few mock games. Hopefully as the season moves on other players can help teach. I am not a good teacher but I am doing the best I can. We are scheduled to play once a week as a drop in group. So whoever shows just plays. The community social coordinator even ordered us 4 tables to play on. So things are doing well. I hope everyone has a good day. PS has anyone watched the sally field movie on Netflix about the octopus? Hard to explain but it was a good movie. 24 more please and thanks.

Wow, your daughter has her hands full with 6 kids dill, at least you get to see here when she comes to visit you. Maybe this year is the year for you to go see their new home.

Well the rain and wind they forecast hasn't come yet, so not sure if we'll get started this morning and go till the rain gets here. I'm thinking that's probably what we'll do but I'll wait for a call or text from Corey.

Hi Cafe. I'm definitely going to look at playing Mahjong Rava. My friend Pat plays on her laptop and enjoys it. Great that you've got ladies in your community group giving it a go.

Jude I know it's not my fault that Zorro is a little s..t but I've rarely turned an animal away from my door. Anyway we'll just carry on as is.

Been a cold and miserable day today. Stayed in my pj's until my walk out. Then came home and changed straight back into them!

Ginger, so envy you out with your sisters. Mine have always lived so far away but I've always had some really dear friends over the years. Especially when I went to Uni as a mature student. There were 5 of us who just hung out together and had so much fun.

Rava, it's great that you found people to teach Mahjong and eventually play it with them. I'm sure that you are a good teacher even if you just learned the game yourself.

This Sunday we are having a plant and bake sale at the rescue and I'm going to make some apple bread. Should be fun and I hope that we make enough money to put back into the shelter. Praying for good weather!

Looks like a trip to town for groceries is on the agenda today. Not looking forward to it but the cupboards are kind of bare and I've put it off for too long.

Did you figure out the name of that movie Rava, we don't have Netflix just Amazon Prime and Apple TV. Staying active is never a bad idea, in more ways than one.

I'm sure your apple bread will sell out quickly Jude, everyone loves homemade bread of any kind. I don't envy you with the grocery shopping, especially if you have lots on the list.

Sounds like you had a very relaxing day Peachie if you could spend it in your pj's. I'm going to have the same kind of day today, but not in pj's though lol.

Sounds like a sister bonding way to spend a day Ginger, but getting out and doing things is more your kind of day, hope it was fun.

We didn't even get the air cart filled with product before it started raining yesterday morning so I was able to head to Vegreville and spend the day and night at home. It's not raining this morning but the forecast is for rain off and on all day. Looks like I'm going to have at least one or two more days with Bubba.

I've drunk too much wine tonight. Don't know why..I've been doing so well lately. In fact have been drinking less and less lately.Almost to the point of drinking nothing at all. I didn't make it to my chair dancing today. I hate letting myself down.
