I've missed you guys and keeping up with your comings and goings. I did not know steroids could turn you around so quickly! I feel like a new woman and could hike to the top of Mt. Rainier! I know that's just the steroids talking but damn, they really make you feel good. Lol Cough is all but gone. I can breathe again without going into bronchial spasms and have been told to rest this week before returning to exercise.

Peachie, I hope your team does well and you can keep your Dockers scarf out of the bin!

Dill, I'll keep my fingers crossed that this is the year that Lily and Pumpkin can live in harmony! Its been a long time coming.

Rava, I hope your friends come out for mahjong. Cards are a great way to while away the crappy weather!

Jude, your day yesterday sounds perfect! Susie has had a rough start that's for sure. With all your knowledge, she really has landed in the perfect spot for her rehabilitation. Thank you again for doing that for her.

ABC, your planting area really reminds me of some of our farm land around here. We also have a lot of canola and when it's in bloom, it's a sight to see!

Thankfull I'm feeling 90% and asking for another sober day to enjoy it!

      Good morning cafe!

Ginger, glad that you are feeling so much better. Aren't steroids awesome? One time I accidentally mowed over a nest of ground bees and was stung multiple times. My doctor put me on a strong course of steroids and boy did I feel good! I had so much energy and my mood was very upbeat.

Cowboy, hope that the weather is good today for seeding as you have a lot of acreage to cover.

Well, today we start tearing down the old porch as the contractors are due to show up a few weeks from now. Not looking forward to this! Mr. J's niece is here as well and I'm sure that she will be a big help.

      Waves to all!

      24 more please...

Good morning Cafe. Ginger, so glad to hear you are feeling better. Yay for steroids. I wish I could take one or two every day. It’s nice to feel good when everything aches every day. Hopefully you are taking a turn for the better! Jude, good luck with the porch project today. Glad your niece will be there to help. I think we might actually see the sun today. Cowboy, 7500 acres sounds like so much land!! I cant even comprehend how much that is. Your video just looked like endless land. It is beautiful. Yesterday our mahjong group was up to 8 players. We are growing so that is a good thing. Hi to everyone and hoping for a sober and good day for us all. Waking up old is hard enough each day without waking up hungover added to being old. 24 more please and thank you!

Good luck with the demolition Jude, make sure everyone does things safely, don't need any accidents.

Sounds like you have a good group of mahjong players Rava, how often do you think you'll be getting together?

So glad to hear you're feeling better Ginger! I've never been on steroids so not sure how they work, but sure glad they are working for you.

Waves to dill, Peachie, Alison, and Mulburry

We've had some very hot weather here lately, 30C (90F) and am happy for a/c in the tractor, but it's almost unbearable when I have to get out to fix a plugged run or when it's time to fill the cart.

            Not today...

Evening Cafe. Jude, please protect that finger of yours during the demolition of your porch. Ugh, I wouldn't be looking forward to it either!

Rava I'm with you on waking up old too. Gone are the days we used to bounce out of bed. I swear just making my first coffee takes everything I've got. Then, of course, the puddies wanting their breakfast first thing. Glad you're mhajong group is working. I sent a message to whoever for some sunshine for you today. Hope they got it! We had a fair amount of rain last night but no thunder. Phew.

Ginger so glad you're feeling so much better. Yay for medicine. I've only ever had steroids once but it only made me not sleep. Glad it had a better effect on you.

Dill, don't worry about trying to get the Dockers game on your TV. Especially if it costs. I'm the same. I think it's on in the middle of your night but really am excited you are on board.

Hiya Cowboy. 8 minutes to Home and Away so will say goodnight to you all.

                Morning, Cafe!

Glad we are still all plugging away. I had to use my puffer twice yesterday but it worked and I was darn glad I had it!

Jude, please be careful today with that finger or are you back to 100%? I feel like I missed days of updates with this crud.

Rava, that's s big crowd for mahjong, no? Do you have multiple tables. I've yet to watch the videos on how to play so thats not clear to me yet.

Wow! ABC, those temps seem miserable with all that pooled water. Muggy much?

                Hey, Dill and Peachie!

I'll join you all in another day!

                  Good morning all!

Wow Cowboy, it must be tough working in 90 degree temps. You seem to have gone from winter to summer in just a few short weeks. Stay cool out there!

Ginger, the finger is still a little swollen but the pain is gone. I see the doctor next week and they are going to get more X-Rays to see if the infection is gone. Hoping for good news.

Rava, what you wrote in your last post cracked me up. "Waking up old is hard enough each day without waking up hungover added to being old."

We got most of the porch down yesterday and we making good progress. Hopefully the rest of it will go smoothly.

Waves to Dill, Peachie and Mul!

                  Not today...

Well done getting the porch down, Jude! You all made great progress to get it down in just a day. Fantastic!

I'm so glad you are feeling so much better, Ginger! It will be hard for you to make yourself rest, but please do.

Waves Peachie, Cowboy and Rava! Sorry I was missing yesterday. The weather was so nice yesterday when I got home from volunteering that I lost track of time and just wanted to be outdoors.

Nothing planned for today. I like it that way!

                    Not today...

Hiya gang. So glad you're all having warmer weather. Mind you Cowboy not so good for you. Was reading about the heatwave in Europe and the UK today. They only have a very small percentage of housing with AC. Poor things. The article stated that they are all quite concerned about what is to come.

Jude, well done on your porch. What an accomplishment.

Very tired tonight. No apparent reason. I've found, since I had my stroke, that some days just suck in that respect. Had a scare yesterday with Patches. She disappeared for ages. I'm having thoughts she was outdoors with Zorro. It is all getting too much. Anyway she came in about 8pm and was grounded. Lol. Little witch.

Dill our team plays tomorrow so will let you know how we go. They are playing a good team on their home ground so fingers crossed.

                      Ginger, keep that puffer handy.

                      Night everyone.

Sounds like everything went like clockwork with the demolishing Jude. Do you have any idea what the new porch is going to look like?

It's funny dill, but once seeding wraps up the last thing I want to do is go camping or spend my days outdoors lol.

It's not too muggy Ginger, but the mosquitos are a nightmare lol.

Hopefully your team will come out on top Peachie. You best give Patches a good talking to for spending the day away without telling you where she was haha.

Waves to Rava, Mulburry, and Alison.

Not much new here, getting fields done one after another. The forecast isn't looking so good though, 4 days of rain supposed to be headed our way starting Saturday. Looks like I'll be getting a few days to rest and relax at home with Bubba.

Good morning Cafe. Ginger, so glad your puffer and meds are working!! What a relief. 8 people for mahjong is two groups. We have 4 tables total that we can play with. Just hoping the group gets bigger as the summer moves on. Jude, glad the porch demolition is done. Like everyone else said watch your finger. Hoping your X-ray shows improvement! Cowboy, that heat is brutal and the mosquitos added to it must make it miserable outside the cab. I just read an article that in Ft. Myers Florida they released 800,000 sterilized male mosquitos into the air to help decrease the mosquito population. They are sterilized by X-rays. Crazy! Hi to Peachie and Mul, Drifty and Dill. I am going to my grandsons field day today and then brining them home to the tiny house to try some crabbing. Will let you know if we catch anything or not. 24 more please and thank you!

Peachie, NO! I would have lost my mind if Cyrus were to go missing for that long. I hope Patches doesn't get a taste for it. Zorro is a bad influence. Naughty kitty!

Jude, I'm glad that part of the porch project is compleat. Was the infection in the bone? Is that why they xray? In any case, here's to a clean bill of health!

ABC, I can think of nothing worse than swarms of mosquitoes. Yuck! Do they like the taste/smell of you? One of my sons is a magnet for the darn thing! I read some place, it's the gasses we breath out or something like that. Weird!

Rava, I'm sure things will pick up as summer progresses but two tables is great too, I'd think.

Dill, your "yesterday" sounds perfect. Puttering around with no absolute need to do anything. Those are the best.

ABC, our storm last night is headed your way! It was a doozy but pretty darn cool. Of course, im not trying to plant anything! Enjoy your time with Bubba.

It's so good to be back to my ornery self! I'll join you for another day of freedom!
