5:13am in Alberta, 24 more for me please, and thanks...

In the last 24 hours, these friends have joined in for 24 hours of wellness:
Jude58 dill Rava Peachie Ginger999 Mulburry

Today is going to be a darn good day not to drink!
Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

Hey Cafe. Jude, I still can't believe his name. Cheeky is so right! I really hope they can get on together cos he is such a sweetie. How is your little girl going?

I am really tired tonight. Really tired. I have joined a few stroke survivors pages. Most of them say the same thing. It is just strange. Like really strange. I try so hard to rationaze it but it doesn't work at all. It seems the brain is such a fickle thing.

Hi to everyone. When is your surgery Jude?

      Night everybody.

That's quite the name for a cat Peachie, but it sure seems to fit him haha. Now if he could just get along with your girls...

Nice to see you Mulburry, enjoy your time with your mom.

It's hard to find a mattress that you're comfortable with Rava, but it's worth the money if it means a good nights sleep.

No new equipment for me yesterday Jude, still too wet.

That's one thing about all this rain dill, the lawns sure look good but need cutting often lol.

Are you getting out and about now Ginger instead of being cooped up in the house?

Still to wet in the fields to do anything, maybe today. I'll have to get a video of the pro till when I'm pulling it and maybe the machine they use to float the seed and fertilizer on with if I'm in the same field as they are.

Well, what do you know! I feel like I must've said some magic words and you suddenly appeared, Mul! Great to see you. I'm sure your mom is enjoying the help as well as your company.

Peachie, you can't seem to resist Mr. Cheeky's charms! LOL. Hopefully the other residents you share your home with will warm up to him and peace will reign.

Ginger, I am making really good progress with the Lily/Pumpkin project lately. I have been able to expand visits to less restrictive areas and to longer times. I really feel like Lily is trying to reconcile two separate realities re: Pumpkin. On the one hand, she can't help but reflexively want to "protect" me from the presence of what she perceives as a threatening vermin, and on the other hand she knows Pumpkin is a dinner companion that is no threat at all and obviously a "friend". The wheels are turning behinde those big brown eyes of Lily's! LOL

          Greetings Jude, Rava and Cowboy.

Let's all seize another day of freedom!

          Dill

Dont forget, you can: start late, start over, be unsure, try and fail AND STILL SUCCEED!

If it is important to you, you will find a way. If not, you will find an excuse.

Morning all! I had to take little sis to an out of town doc. We left Sunday afternoon and spent the night so she could prep and be at her appt at 730a. Im happy to report, she got a clean (literally) bill of health!

Cheeky! Now that's a perfect name. Although, he'll always be Zorro to me, Peachie.

Jude, hope the doc appt goes well. Thinking of you.

Hi Mul!. We've had rain off and on. I must say I find it refreshing and I'm not disappointed. Enjoy your mountain time with your Mom.

ABC, I'm back at it! I'm still having asthma attacks daily though. I'm back to using the cpap too. I'm convinced it's related. It's awful but what can I do? I'm waiting for a referral so I can see an ENT. Good times! Lol Hope you get the planting wrapped up soon.

Dill, it sounded like you had a wonderful visit. Hopefully, you can do it again soon when your son can come.

Lunch with my bestie all the way back to 6th grade. We meet up a couple times a year. It's fun to reminisce about all our shenanigans. I'm thankful and I'll take another day of freedom!

                Morning all!

Peachie, I'm glad that you have joined a stroke survivors group. It's good to have support and talk with other folks who are going through the same things as you. Boo is coming around around but she is still a little skittish. I'm sure that with a little patience and time she will come around.

Cowboy, looking forward to seeing the new video of you hard at work in the fields.

Dill, glad that you are making progress with Lily and pumpkin. Maybe in time they will become friends, and it sounds as though you're on the right track. Lots of time and patience will hopefully make it easier for them to get along.

Ginger, glad that your sister got a clean bill of health at her doctors appointment. Sorry that you're still having trouble breathing and hopefully an ENT doctor can help pin point the problem. It seems as we grow older the list of specialists that we have to see has gotten considerably longer.

My surgery is today and I'm not looking forward to it but it has to be done so here I go for round two.

                Waves to Rava and Mul!

                Not today...

Good luck with the surgery today Jude!

That's great news about your sister Ginger, now we just need you getting the same bill of health.

Sounds like Lily and Pumpkin are well on their way to becoming friends dill, or at least tolerant of each other lol.

Waves to the rest of the gang!

We finally got back in the field early yesterday afternoon. It didn't take me long to catch on to the pro till, just have to get used to the speed! We seed at around 5mph but we pro till at 10mph, feels like I'm flying up and down the field! I'll get a video once I'm more comfortable but it won't be today, I doubt we'll be going as it rained overnight.

Good morning Cafe. Good luck today Jude. I look forward to hearing how it went. Cowboy, glad you figured out the new equipment. I knew you would! Ginger, hope you are feeling better with less coughing. Hi to Dill, Mul and Peachie. Wishing everyone a great day. 24 more please and thank you.

Cowboy, I had not doubts that you could master the new machinery! Well done!

Jude, you will be in my thoughts and prayers today. Hoping that the surgery goes well and proves 100% successful. I'm happy to hear that Boo is coming around more and more each day. Time and careingare the best medicine.

Ginger, I feel for you and what you are going through. I don't think it is fair that you have to wait for a referral! Is it time for you to become a bit of a squeaky wheel with the powers that be? I know Mr. D had to go through the renewel process, and the appointment for the Sleep Clinic took forever! But most people waiting for that process to unfold probably aren't like you, experiencing chronic breathing issues. You seem like a priority case to me.

Rava, are you getting much grandkid time? I bet you are, what with having that pool handy!

Peachie, I hope you find good support and fellowship in the group. It sounds like a good move.

My granddaughter has never been involvedin any team sports. That is why I was shocked a few months ago when she told me she wished she could join a Softball team. I searched around and found a youth league near by. It is open to all skill levels and she was welcomed aboard. First team experience and she is turning 15 this summer! She has really been enjoying the experience and I am so proud of her for pursuing it! She got a base hit in her second game. She was thrilled. . Sometimes it is the small things...

Ginger, so glad little sis got a clean bill of health.

AB. Just had a picture in my head of you flying up and down the fields at an alarming rate!! Lol.

Hi to Rava, Dill and Ginger and Mul.

Hope everyone is doing well. It's cold and rainy here. Patches had a big fight with Zorro last night after he came in. It's really upset me. Doors are all closed and locked tonight. I've realized how territorial cats are it's just not going to work. Anyway neither are hurt so that's a blessing.

Peachie, crap! I'm sorry to hear that. I volunteered for a pet rescue and we always told people getting a new cat with cats at home, to keep the new cat caged, in the house with the other cats for at least a week. That way they'd get all that out of their systems before actually being face to face. I say that only to say introducing cats to each other can be a shit show! Sorry about the fight! Im so glad no one was hurt. That can be a nasty business!

ABC, this has been a heck of a spring planting season for you guys! Hope it's over soon.

Dill, that's awesome about your granddaughter wanting to join a softball team. Im so proud of her too. I hope she loves it and wants to stick with it.

Jude, good luck today. Thinking of you!

Rava, do you have any projects planned for your tiny house this season? You know I love to hear about projects!

Off to exercise with my puffer. Lol I'll take another day of freedom!
