5:13am in Alberta, 24 more please, and thanks...

In the last 24 hours, these friends have signed in for 24 hours of wellness:
    Jude58 Rava dill Peachie Ginger999

Today is going to be a darn good day not to drink!
Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

Good morning Cafe. Jude, I am sorry about the pain but hopefully this surgery worked to get rid of the tissue around the bone. We are all hoping this does the trick for you! Ginger, no more projects. We are pretty much finished with all the major projects. A little tiny home became available two streets over with a beautiful water view but it needs so much work. I think we will just stay in our little place with no view that is finished to our liking. We are close to the pool here with great neighbors all around. Peachie, sorry about Zorro fighting with your cat. You are so kind to even let him in. I hope everyone has a wonderful day. 24 more please and thank you.

I'm thinking you might have to have a chat with Zorro's owners Peachie, no need for any cats to get hurt because he wanders the neighborhood.

Sorry to hear you're in pain Jude, were they able to give you good news after the surgery?

At least you're able to get out and about now Ginger but it's little consolation if you still have that cough. Referrals take forever up here as well, not enough specialists for all the patients. Us baby boomers are putting a strain on a lot of services.

It's great that your granddaughter is taking up a team sport dill, I think it's a valuable experience for kids growing up.

        Waves to Rava and Mulburry...

Seeding didn't last long, got one day in and woke up to rain yesterday morning, so I ended up coming back to Vegreville and I see everything is wet out here this morning as well. More rain in the forecast for today and tonight as well. I don't ever remember a spring this wet or as much water in the fields as there is. Some of the area farmers have decided to put their seeding equipment away and file for crop insurance. We only have 2 good days of seeding left if we can ever get them in.

ABC, wow! Crazy weather for sure. How long will Cory wait before he does the same?

Jude, I'm glad that surgery is behind you. Hoping this one does the trick!

Rava, the water view would be nice but the work? Not so much! I still want to sell our AZ place but the thought of packing overwhelms me.

Peachie, dang! I was getting ready for a rant!

Dill, I checked my insurance and it does not require a referral so I called a specialist 2 hrs away (closet one) that specializes in cpap and asthma. She also is a surgeon. If there's a surgical option to get off the cpap, I'll consider it! The appointment is scheduled for July 21. It pays to check my policy!

I hope we all have an easy day! I'll take another.
