5:10am in Alberta, another 24 for me please, and thanks...

In the last 24 hours, these friends have signed in for 24 hours of wellness:
    Jude58 Peachie dill Rava Ginger999

Today is going to be a darn good day not to drink!

Great game by the Dockers Peachie! How long is the season before they go into playoffs? I imagine there's some sort of trophy awarded to the final winning team?

I enjoy a good thunder and lightning storm as well Jude, but high winds and tornadoes scare me. Thet can cause so much damage in such a short time.

Waves to the rest of the gang!

Off to the city this morning to pick up the unit heaters and chimneys for the job then head straight out to the customers to drop everything off and take the trailer back to the farm. We'll plan the work out to see when I can get started on the project and see what will be required to get the heaters up in place and what we'll need for hangers. Hopefully will be able to get started next week sometime.

      Not today...

Good morning Cafe. Hope everyone has a great and sober day. My zumba class is not too crowded but it’s helpful for me to keep moving. Today is treadmill at the gym. It’s raining hard today. Kind of nice to see. I hope everyone has a great friday. 24 more please and thank you.

Peachie, indeed I did go to the lavender farm and the barn there was beautiful and PURPLE! The Dockers were top of mind! So happy they won! The lavender farm was a nice experience. It's a beautiful setting and as you can imagine, a fragrant experience! It amazed me how much time it took to pick enough lavender for a bunch.

Cowboy, you sound so busy, but yet you sound as if you are keeping a reasonable schedule so you don't get overwhelmed. You are good to keep a balance going! I'll see if Mr. D would be interested in picking up the dry wall job in exchange for travel expenses! LOL! He learned the trade from his dad and is really quite good at it!

Sorry about the storms that came your way, Jude. They were in our area and I knew they were headed your way!

Rava, you sure do keep occupied! I wish I had half your energy!

Ginger, about that TV... I am actually guilty of enjoing having it playing in the background, and like you, Mr. D doesn't like it. So, I use my blue tooth and send the audio into my earbuds. He benefits from the quiet and I also benefit because I have a fairly wide ranging area before I lose signal. I can keep on the move and getting things done while listening. I stream it on my phone so I can see the video if I really need to, but mostly I listen to it. Would that be something doable at your home?

It's a gorgeous day! I think I'll get out and enjoy it.

            Not today...

              Good morning all!

Boo kitty is sitting in my lap while I'm trying to type this. She is the sweetest girl ever and I hope that she eventually will come to trust us fully. She gets along with the other cats which I'm grateful for. Small things make me happy.

Yesterday Mr. J and I went to a sidewalk sale at one of the local stores. Everything was 75 cents each and they had a huge selection of t-shirts, sweat pants, dress shirts, shorts and pants. We took home a lot of clothes for 12 dollars. Not too shabby!

Dill, I love using my blue tooth around the house, especially when I'm cleaning as music is a good motivator to get me moving without bothering Mr.J. Win, win!

              Waves to all!

Good morning Cafe. I also love my blue tooth AirPods and wear them all the time listening to podcasts and other things. Mr. R has headphones which he is watching TV. Living in a tiny house you need to be considerate of others since we are basically in the same room. Hope everyone has a wonderful Father’s Day weekend. 24 more please and thank you.

Sounds like Boo is settling in quite nicely Jude and that the other cats have accepted her as well. That sounds like quite the sale, what can you buy anymore for under $1.00

We might just take you up on the offer to have Mr D finish up the drywall dill lol. We hung the drywall but neither of us are very good with the mudding and taping so that's why he hired it out. The drywaller just has final coat of mud to put on then the sanding. Hopefully he shows up soon.

Not much planned for this weekend as we are under another heavy rainfall warning. 3 - 4" expected by Sunday evening. Sure don't need it but at least our seeding got done.

Evening Cafe. Goodness Cow Boy. More rain! The weather is going crazy. We start the playoffs around about August. Only the top eight teams. It is huge here in Australia. The Grand Final is in September. Yes there certainly is a huge trophy for the winners. The whole country fights to get tickets to the game regardless of who is in the Grand Final.

Jude, you always said Boo kitty was a sweetheart and you were right. So glad she gets on with your other cats. I'm sure Rosie has no idea that Patches is her daughter but they get on really well.

Dill, I have some lavendar in my garden. It always looks dead in the winter but then blossoms again in the spring. Amazing.

                      Got to have some dinner.
                      Night everyone.

Dill, I hate to ask hubby to wear earbuds during the day when he has to wear ear plugs at night because my cpap bothers him. I do however wear my earbuds off and on to listen to pod casts and music. I guess what I enjoy and miss is absolute silence. Of course, if I had it very long, I'd probably get tired of that too. Definitely a first world problem!

Jude, I'm so happy for you and Boo. Win/Win

Hi Peachie , ABC and Rava.

Another hot day here. It's a good day not to drink!

Peachie, I have heard from gardening center employees that lavender is a hard one to winter over in our area. It must be possible, but as I said before, I just haven't had any luck with it! The lavender farm was up on a hill. I wonder if that has something to do with it being able to winter over...good drainage. We have some pretty cold temperatures in our area in the winter, too. Makes it difficult to grow apples and peaches.

I was thinking I might've given the impression I keep the TV on all day. I am not that addicted to TV! LOL. I just watch a couple of morning programs then shut it off until evening news. But I do use my earbuds quite a bit throughout the day. I am a podcast listener and an audiobook listener for the most part. I enjoy music, but I don't seem to use them much for that.

Ginger, I am puzzled that your hb has to wear earplugs as night because your CPAP keeps him awake. I don't hear Mr. D's machine at all except if he gets up to go to the bathroom and I hear the air rushing through the mask when he takes it off. Also, if his mask happens to slip out of position and the air is escaping I can hear that. In that case I gently nudge him and he slips it back into position. I wonder if you need a different model of CPAP.

Waves to the handy man, the tiny house dweller and the cat-lovin' bargain hunter!

                          Not today.
Honestly, I said that yesterday but failed. Grateful that I can have another chance at freedom today. Grateful to be here with all of you.
