I know the Three Chimneys............unfortunately it was shut. Mind it was 4pm. We had cottage attached to a big house, can't for the life of me remember where. About 6/7 miles from Portree . The owner of the Big Hoose was a retired major aged anywhere between 70 and 100. Lovely bloke and just a tad eccentric.

Was in dunvegan this afternoon - with Julie on that - right up there as a 'fave' place ;-)
Just had dinner in the Dornie hotel - excellent! Now it's beebyes and tomorrow - well HAVE to be a tourist and look for Nessie!!! Slag me not Tony or Mick ! Scotland is very like Ireland - big into castles (Jackie knows how I love my castles) and Eilean Donan is OUTSIDE MY WINDOW!!!!!!

And don't forget plaques. The many, many plaques.

Yep big day tomorrow and hope there's a big turn out. My 92 year old mother-in-law's had the nous to get her postal vote in.

Good morning everyone. Thought I had posted yesterday but did it from phone so must have lost it. Bit like you JC not sure regarding result, the world is in turmoil. Very strange times. Woke early and was going to walk the doggies but raining so they won't come getting hair done at 10.30 so day not lost. Glad you enjoying Scotland Molly, must put it on my list, have only been to Glasgow. Still pottering along in garden but if weather nice best place to be.

I remember sitting up all night with the son & heir the first time he voted.......he was 22 and just missed the previous election as he was a few days short of 18. He was so excited. I'm actually very proud of his and Jenny's friends for their commitment to getting out there and voting. Awful lot of young 'uns using their vote.

I used to stress and obsess over my hair and the weather. These days i'm cool calm and collected, and ready for anything Ma nature throws at me......
