I ordered sweaters for my dogs but the delivery hasn't come yet. We had Molly's hair cut and the poor thing is cold. They sleep inside when it's cold. When it's warm outside, they do sleep outside. That makes it easier for Daddy to sleep because he doesn't have to keep getting up on checking on them. :harhar:

So sweaters huh? Well my cats don't like clothes. I wish they would wear a funny little hat I saw some cats in a video wear.....so my landlord and his wife live next door and invited me over. They were outside and very drunk. I went over to have someone to talk to, as their drinking doesn't trigger me. Have been living here for many years so I don't feel awkward around them being sober. Was kinda fun. Glad I am sober though.....

Great job Bird. Great you could talk to them without being triggered! What kind of house are you looking at? I'm so happy for you.

Yeah - we've tried to put hats on our cats too. We had a couple cats that would let hubby put a sock over their head. How crazy is that - but they would keep purring.

Just ordered some yarn to crochet a baby blanket. Even if it turns out awful, she'll know that Grandma loves her. :heartbeat:

Yup, chatty just like your said you would Nora. Lucy has sweaters and one very warm fleece when it's really cold out. She likes the sweaters, she likes being warm and cozy. I even bought her flannel jammies a few years ago and she likes to wear them on cold winter nights. Lucy sleeps in bed with hubby and I. In between as a matter of fact. No outside for her. When we first got her I tried so hard to get her to sleep in her bed in the kitchen. AFter about 3 or 4 weeks of her crying all night, me sleeping on the floor with her in the kitchen, I gave up and she won. I do love her snuggles though.

AG some really good advice here. All I can tell you, is I used to say I'm not that bad, it's only a few at night, etc. It escalated and things did get bad, really bad! Maybe just tell yourself yiu don't want to get really bad and stop now before it does. I never thought it could happen to me, but it did. Please, think about that?

Rusty, sounds like a nice weekend plan. Are your spring decorations up yet? I really missed that hour this week too, but I love how it's still light out later.

Bird, do you find it overwhelming looking at houses? Don't know that I could do that again. I suppose hubby and I will downsize at some point, maybe? I don't know if I told you but I attend a women for sobriety f2f meeting just a few miles from home. I have met some wonderful women. I look forward to the meetings.

Cleaned the house today and ran some errands. Going to send CJ and Joe a little Easter package and that was fun to put together. Today was dads birthday. I spoke to him and he was a bit well, I don't even know. He didn't really want to talk on the phone. I hope he's up to going out for lunch tomorrow. I had that little dark cloud following me around all day. Going to go lose myself in a book before bed. Wishing you all a lovely quiet AF St Paddys day evening

Rusty - did you stay over at your Mom's or is it close enough that you go back home? I hope you have a good weekend.

Well - my sweaters got delayed in delivery.:rant: No tracking info - just said that they were sorry and would be here by Wed. I'll see if I can post a cute picture here.

                    Be right back

                            Hi all,
Aww Nora, what a sweet pup! And I am sure the blanket will turn out great. I have never been able to do that, and have tried a few times.......Lizann, hope the cloud has stopped following you. I have tried to get cats to sleep in a cat bed but....as for the house hunting, I am just browsing for now. I have never bought a house and trying to get a feel for it. The place I am currently living is in shambles, so pretty much anything else looks good......so last night I decided to eat some fast food since I wanted to start the juicing today and felt I must get in as much junk food as I could hehe. Anyway, went to Zaxbys and ate about 1/2 and put the rest down for the cats, which they did not like it. Makes me wonder about that place...well, off to start my day..the birds are singing like crazy!
