Hello to all the sleeping ones.
I did a shufti to work, picked up a shufti-load of work I didn't need, had meetings with loads of shufti heads. Then got the shufti out of there.

Unless somebody defines this word for me I will continue to use it out of context, out of spite. Lol.

This morning I shuftied, before shuftieing out to shufti, after which I shuftied, shuftied, then made myself a big bowl of shufti. You have no idea how doggone shufti that was. Pure shufti.

Evening all ..... I was working all day 10am - 8pm
Home ........... darkened room ....... Big Brother (yes - IT'S A SOCIAL EXPERIMENT) !!!

I don't know what the feck shufti is either Bridget - some Scottish thingy .....
At a guess I'd say it's short for 'shuffle' ?

But then what do I know - I thought Mick was picking mushrooms at 5am Sunday mornings .... :egad:

I have WhatsApp on my laptop, much easier to use a keyboard.
The kids just abbreviate everything. Drives me nuts. I write a proper message, with full stops and commas and all I get back is; IK Lkowk AJS.... wtf (well, I like that last one)..

Feeling a bit overwhelmed with all the people in my life that need my time & attention ..... wish they'd all sort out their shit and let me get on with life.
I think with my job, when you are at everyone's beck & call - you just want peace on your days off.

Doc, you know better than most that "me time" is very important. Sometimes people need to be told "nope, can't help you. Only you can do that." Tough love and all that.

You could just stare at them inquiringly until they say,
