Re: February Army Thread
Afternoon everyone
Thanks for starting the thread Battle. Like Molly I had forgotten what day it was. Glad to see the back of January. Sorry you reverted to old ways but new month, new beginning?
Had plumber here this morning. Small leak and new rad needed. This company have done a few jobs for us in the past and very impressed. No messing, was told someone would be here between 8.30 and 9 this morning and he arrived at 8.40, gone within the hour.
Walk was delayed but got it done. Just picked up my new glasses, make everything so clear. Waves to everyone and happy St Bridget’s Day. Have to say I have always hated that name but I’ll take the bank holiday next week.

Re: February Army Thread
I'm good thanks Molly, honestly think it did me good to realise relapsing is actually just depressing, no intention or desire to ever do that again. As you say rustop, new month, new beginning, and my ocd number loving brain is digging it being 1223 as a start date (the last one was 23/1/23 which I also liked, its the little things haha)They/He

Battle_for_the_sun.............thanks for the kick off.
Only realised it was a new month when I came downstairs and Mr. JC had turned our calendar over.
I was at my coffee morning. Luckily it isn't raining but freezing............ its a 15 minute walk and I'm just thawing out now even though I was wrapped up warm had my big coat on. I looked like Nanook of the North.
We should do a MWO mass going to Egypt.............always been near obsessed by mummies. It could be worse, I could be filing.

Re: February Army Thread
Evening all,
Back to studying today, enjoying my reading, got some catching up to do after the debacle of the last couple days. Struggling some with cravings but what's new haha.
Satz - that's a crazy coincidence with your mother's mobile. Weirdest I had was back when the ex and I were together and our pin numbers were the same except for one digit - of all the hundreds of possible combinations. Still didn't help him remember mine when I'd send him out for stuff with my card though, a great many checkout phone calls over the years, I'm sure he drove cashiers nuts.
JC - I'm game for an MWO Egyptian vacation - I was obsessed with ancient Egypt as a kid.
Off to work in the morning, a later start but I'm hoping my little cock up of the last couple days doesn't screw me over on sleep. Got a haircut booked for the end of the day as well, mine grows like wildfire, its maddeningly expensive, but also one of the easiest to access sources of gender euphoria for me, nice to see 'myself' in the mirror for a bit when its styled just right.They/He

Re: February Army Thread
Good morning everyone
Good luck with work Battle, hope you got some sleep and managed to dodge the cravings. New hair cut always gives a boost.
There were trips to Egypt from Cyprus years ago and I missed out as we were going back the day before. Might leave it until January next year when himself retires.
Walk done, pretty windy out there. Here writing shopping list. My least favourite part of the week.

Re: February Army Thread
Morning,
Took my own advice and got the ViTD. There's more daylight now but one of those lamps will make it easier for Mr. JC to get me one for my birthday so I'm armed and ready for this Autumn & Winter
Enjoy the videos and music that you love, upload original content and share it all with friends, family and the world on YouTube.
I'd forgotten that our local museum had King Tut's face mask on show. It was fabulous but I'll admit that it went through my mind that they should have left him peace.
We've booked a week in a country cottage in May in the Yorkshire Dales. Something to look forward to.
satz123...........that phone thing is a bit spooky.:eek-new:It could be worse, I could be filing.

Re: February Army Thread
Evening all,
Been sick as hell all day, pretty sure I'm just ill as 48 hour relapse doesn't seem like enough time to kick off another round of withdrawals, sucks I got a nice new haircut but I look too awful to show it off haha. Got an alright sleep but work was still torture. Not long been home, rushing from work to hairdressers and running errands. Got a ton of studying to catch up on. Stressing - which could also be some of why I'm sick.
JC - inclined to agree with you, tbh most things in museums in this country should have been left be for one reason or another, in my opinion of course. Do like a good dinosaur skeleton though haha.They/He

Re: February Army Thread
Hope you're tucked up in bed now Inchy, well done on getting so much done and giving those fleeting thoughts the middle finger..
Hope your feeling better in the morning.
Went to see a Podiatrist today. He was brilliant.. unfortunately can not work miracles (most toenails have either fallen off or grown back weirdly from long distance running) but lots of good advise and very healthy looking nail free toes now :happy2:Last edited by IamMary; February 2, 2023, 07:03 PM.AF - July 19th 2015 :happy2:

Re: February Army Thread
Good morning everyone
Well done on getting the toes sorted Mary. My daughter runs and it’s a pain in sandle season. Now that’s a job I would hate and being a chiropodist or are they the same thing? Feet give me the Ickes.
Walk done and off to crochet class in a few minutes. Have a lovely weekend everyone.

Re: February Army Thread
Afternoon (just),
Talking about ancient people we're going to see The Who in July.
Battle_for_the_sun...........I'll book a few camels so we can have a nosy around the tombs in Egypt.
Nothing exciting going on apart from getting new curtains...............the man that can is coming tomorrow morning to measure up. I may faint with excitement. It could be worse, I could be filing.

Re: February Army Thread
Evening all
spent the morning at a farm petting pigs and goats, pretty much the ideal start to any day for me. Spent most of the afternoon cleaning to prep for the property inspection, its a week away but I'm trying to spread out the work so its not just a weekend of me furiously scrubbing every surface. Still behind on studying, still stressing and still battling cravings, honestly no idea how folks make a go of this sober thing its hard as sh*t haha, hats off to you all, I'm hanging in on day 3 but its a maddening experience. Doesn't help that we OCD autistic folk don't exactly thrive on uncertainty so not knowing when this stops being such a slog is driving those parts of my brain nuts.
Rustop - I'm with you on podiatrists/feet, I don't even like my own feet let alone dealing with other people's haha. I worked in pharmacy for 13 years and I saw my fair share of unpleasantness though, you develop a good poker face with the things people tell/show you - still remember the chap who wanted to show me a bite on his thigh and dropped his trousers in front of a queue of customers.
JC - I'd be in just for the camel ride tbh haha, I know they spit but that wouldn't stop me - I let a group of piglets try and eat my shoes this morning xD Coincidentally I've got some new curtains on the way - though I get new ones fairly regularly, this flat is so damp it ruins fabrics and papers at a horrifying rate, I've got vents for air circulation but they don't do nearly enough, and they make it so its freezing in here.
Molly - If I've heard your story its long enough ago i can't recall, think we need a retelling when you're back on later.They/He
