Liver Pain?
OK, I have noticed that I am very Tri-Polar after quiting. I'm one of three emotions. Extremely happy, Extremely Angry, or Extremely Depressed.
I think the Nic and the Al masked these feelings.
Just another thing to deal with.Starting over again 09/06/11

80% Happy 10% & 10%
I think Relationship problems are the issue.
Don't know, The Doc recommended Wellbutrin. I may have to break down and go on it. I just don't want to be on meds forever.Starting over again 09/06/11

I take prozac and have for almost a year...I am just starting to come off it now but honestly, it really helped me....I think if you suffer from situational depression they can be really helpful...Living now and not just existing since 9th July 2008

I think they work in a different way from AL and Nic..but have a chat to your doc about your concerns. Maybe he/she can put your mind at rest?
The trouble with having massive mood swings is that it can act as a trigger to send us straight back to AL and nicotine....Living now and not just existing since 9th July 2008

Liver Pain?
Charlygirl what a good idea to remind people what Al liver disease looks like. As the relationship between drinking and AL liver disease is complex., it is important to emphasise that not all heavy drinkers develop alcoholic hepatitis, and the disease can occur in people who drink only moderately or binge just once. Though damage from alcoholic hepatitis often can be reversed if you stop drinking, the disease is likely to progress to cirrhosis and liver failure if you don't. If u develop alcoholic hepatitis you'll need to avoid alcohol and other substances that harm your liver. So a sobering thought for us all this morning.CHARLYGIRL;601108 wrote: I'VE HAD A NUMBER OF PATIENTS WITH END STAGE LIVER DISEASE. IT ISN'T PRETTY-VERY PAINFUL-ABD SWELLS UP-AND THE PATIENT TURNS ORANGE....PLEASE REASSESS THE AMOUNT OF AL YOUR DRINKING AND SEE A DOCTOR
