I braved the store. Remembered my old strategy to shop on Saturday night.
A lot of cars parked at the bar next to my apartment.

No pies at the store, which means I'll attempt to make one. The crust is always the trouble.

Sammynorm, a Graham cracker crust is easy and good. But you may need to go back to the store for grahamcrackers.

Using 1.5x the crust recipe worked. And not being a crazy alcoholic perfectionist about failing helped too. Probably being sober helped a lot as well (no wine with pie making).

I've never been a great pie maker but I can turn out a pretty decent loaf of bread, cakes, cookies & all that stuff. Guess I just didn't get the pie gene

Managed to get my grown up son here for a birthday dinner today & made him some cupcakes. Needless to say the grandsons were thrilled :H

Sam, how are those 3 1/2 feelings doing tonight?

Still super cold outside!!! Broke a record from 1956!

                            Hey Lav
The Mrs showed up around 5, hit the traffic just right. She had 10 days of yoga teacher training in Exton.

It is great seeing new faces!
