    100 Day Club members/Maintenance Thread

Yep...on January 2nd, the gym and MWO will be hoppin' with lots of people...some new, some not-so-new. There will be a surge of dieters/smoking quitters/non-drinkers/fitness buffs...get ready for a crowd!

My focus will remain on staying sober and staying smoke-free. Not so concerned with fitness or diet right now...and I may never be....who am I kidding? LOL

Been focusing too much. Gained 10 lbs since I quit. Sugar of all things. Back to the gym and the boring diet.:upset:

TJ, I developed that sweet tooth thing when I first quit too. And to complicate matters, I quit smoking shortly after that & ended up putting on 13 pounds!!!!
I'm happy to report that has gone
I did use a little L-Glutamine to help kick the sugar thing - have you tried that? It does work

Thanks for the reminder Lav, I bought some L Glutamine when I first started here for AL cravings, not sure if it helped, but now I am craving sugar and not getting enough exercise. I haven't gained but winter is my worst time physically. I really hate the cold weather and short days.

                        Hey June
seems like it is harder to drink a lot of water in the winter too

I dip decaf green tea bags in my water to help it go down
I make a quart or two every morning & just work on it through the day - hot or cold.

The L-Glut does help cut the sugar cravings - try it if you need a hand

                              Hi, TJAF

I thought the L-Gln was much more effective for sugar than AL. Or maybe for whichever one you do first??

                              Hope it helps!

I didn't use any L-Glut when I stopped drinking NS.
But I sure needed it to kick the sugar habit - that was nasty. Just grateful it worked or I would be weighing 400 pounds by now :H :H
