Hi all - I was just too tired last night to post, sorry. Dropped into bed a 10:45, late for me.
Star, your trip sounds just great! What wonderful way to travel - I think you will have a grand time. Yes, take a light jacket for SF -- I have been cold there more than once! So nice that you will be in the company of good AF folks as well. I love to hear that your son is doing better, and turmeric seems to be helping, what great news.
Pauly, I hope that the witches didn't make you crazy yesterday! It sounds like you should be the manager of the shop - you are the only one with customer service skills! I think you will be fine with the GF diet - there are such great products out there. If you miss bread, I recommend the Udi's with the millet, it's pretty good toasted. For travel, I roll up a good quality (no sulfite) slice of meat and an avocado slice in a lettuce roll and have a little not-dog! Good luck!
Lav, I had no idea that different breeds of chickens had different behavioral characteristics... I love the Buff Orpington, just because of their name, I like to say it! Good for you for staying active, I am up to my eyeballs in projects, co-chair of a Women's Issues Team - today I have to get legislative info off to the Poli-action people for a Town Hall meeting tomorrow and then host a meeting here at the house tomorrow night. Thank goodness for the internet research tools! PS - so glad to hear about your time with EB!
Star, there is pretty much no down time at this house, ever. When you own your own business, there is never a day off or sick days, and with HB's summer work, the organizations need a lot of help, so I do what I can for them - I fear for the future of the arts in this country... we've never had enough in budgets, so I have spent my life making things happen on a 'shoe-string', it 's just the way it is. But at this stage of my life, I'm getting a little tired and cranky! I am trying hard to stay healthy and positive, I do mini-meditations often, it's the best I can do for now...
Wishing all a great AF Sunday --
the witches were fine yesterday surprisingly and no way Jose would I ever manage that shop, don't need the stress of babysitting 35+ year old women!! Well I see on the news people are getting deported left and right with NO criminal background! Being pulled over for traffic violations and getting arrested in font of their kids,I told hubs yesterday that he's lucky he's white,I'm not Hispanic but I look like it,I better search for my birth certificate and social security card haha,I'm just really disgusted by all of this, some customer was whining about Freso and all the illegals"stealing our jobs" I wonder if this guy would go out there in that heat, long hours and pick produce? I don't think so. Too heavy for a Sunday, sorry I hope we all have a wonderful AF Sunday

LB's bf's brother is getting married this summer and they're doing it in Ireland, I told my daughter to start sucking up to his fiancé so she'll be invited but she can't stand the girl, they all live in one big house in Portland so you'd figure they'd get along by nope,Cyn,thank you the cake was amazing, Louie had fun jumping on the trampoline in his other grammas backyard, they had rented a spiderman jump house that was mounted in the driveway but all the kids just wanted to use the trampoline, Kell was mad they wasted the money oh well,it was so windy omg!
