Mae everybody,hutch looks good Mick stupid dentist this morning and I just don't want to go,my nerves feel shot! Seems like I've practically lived at that place for two years meh,it'll be ok just hope he can fix the tooth,Lou starts school on Monday and he gets to go meet his teacher today hello to Lav,PQ,SK,Sam wishes for a great BF Friday!

SK...3 plates and screws ouch! That just downright sucks having the Rx stolen, can you get it replaced? Good job on the firing, sounds like they deserved it. The taken out display of mugs, coffee and whatnots would have made a great pic! Totally the establishments fault not having a safe and accessible exit. Pi...if you're not inundated with condo sales and don't have 48 feet underfoot, SK could use a little help.

Lav...all I can think of is "Where are the marshmallows?" That's alot of brush! Made it through day 3 of no wildlife, fingers crossed it continues. I'm glad I'm flying too. It is really a boring drive heading east.

Pauly...I feel you about the dentist hope he can help. Is this Lou's first year of school? A new adventure awaits.

Mick...you outdid yourself with poets day, well done! I could use a few reno's in my condo if you're just having a doss day. The hutch definitely fits into the garden. How forward thinking you are...be able to add polystyrene insulation underneath the floor in winter! In the midst of all these heatwaves you know what's coming.

We have a wedding at the centre today, not sure why people get married on a Friday but Que Sera. Just found out the co-worker is taking holidays during week 2 of my holidays so will write up some cheat sheets for the boss only because I don't want to come back to a catastrophe. Supposed to break heat records today so it's A/C office to A/C condo for me today. And hopefully around noonish! LOL Have a Fabulous Friday all....:smile:PPQP

Mick, the hutch looks like a mansion forthe wabbits. For crying out loud get a back brace. Backissues linger as we get older. Thanks for the poetry.

Lav, t/storms for us last night, rattled the building and Peggy, we are having the same for the next few days. We lived near a forset in WA state abd hubby used to chop them up and put them through the wood chipper. Alwaysgave me ideas ala Fargo. where is Cyn?

SK,i haven't seen Cyn around in a bit,,I think she misses our old little thread cuz of the history and stuff we'd discuss,I don't know for sure and don't want to put words in her mouth haha,or she's just plain busy,you know how she rolls maybe Lav has seen her? Lav, i need your expertise.The newyellow cast is causing great discomfort. it's to tight and throbbing. they didn't put enough of a cuff on it so the plastic is rubbing on the skin. the other side with sprain and broken finger she re-wrapped and my fingers look lik sausages. should i ask thetorture chamber to recast or go quietly insane. i cant even get a bobby pin between the skin and cast. it may have swllen during the night. any advice would be helpful.

SK, I will be sending you a FB message as well -
You really need to keep that arm elevated overnight to help reduce the swelling. And please don't try to put anything up inside that cast - you could cut your skin open & end up with an infection. If the swelling persists you really should call the doc. You don't want to risk circulation problems on top of everything else.
Now who took your Rx? Was it someone from an agency? You need to report that to the agency & frankly I would report it to the police as well. Geez, you have some bad mojo going on there. I really wish we could be of more help :hug:

PQ, I really hope you can relax & turn your phone off when you go away. Leave work at work!!

I watched my grandsons this afternoon & will be watching them two days next week. They were both on their electronic devices & I hardly knew they were here.

SK...it's mostly a staycation but will be travelling to another province to visit my sister for a few days. Not sure if you're familiar with Canada, I live in Alberta and she lives in Saskatchewan. Glad you were able to get more meds. Like Lav said, you should report it. You take care of that swelling and do as nurse Lav says.

Lav...for the first time in 7 years (as I wasn't allowed to before) I actually put an auto reply on my email to say I'm away until the 27th and will NOT be checking email. Also a voice recording basically saying the same thing. Now that those trying to reach me know I'm not there I won't worry about them waiting for a response. Feels pretty damn good!

We hit an all time record hi today 37C, temp at midnight is supposed to be 30C and I believe it. But of course we can't forget about the "if you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes and it'll change" theory as tomorrow will be a high of 17C with rain/T-storms. Only a one day reprieve but at least it's not snow.

SK...ok that makes a whole lot more sense. Sorry you're having a bad day sounds like the swelling isn't any better. Wish I knew how to help. Is there any agencies where you live that you can reach out to? Perhaps talk to your Doctor about your situation?

Hot, humid & definitely stormy this evening. We just had a tropical like storm that dumped nearly 1.5 " of rain in 7 minutes!!!! There's more on the way, I can hear thunder in the distance but it's approaching.

SK, you really need the services of a companion/aide not necessarily nursing. Your area has to have something available & your social worker should be taking care of that for you.
At least keep that arm elevated as much as possible until someone makes a home visit, oK? :hug:
