And so our story takes on a more somber twist
as we view our past and make a list
to correct all the hurts and all of the wrongs
of which for me the list is quite long

So with that said this is my dream
to forgive myself as hard as that seems
and realize how lucky I truly am
to have people who love me just as I am

And I want to return that love with all that I have
instead of burying my feelings in liquid salve
So all of those around me will feel a lift
And know that their place in my life is truly a gift

So enough of these tears let's get on the plane
Or are we getting to Quebec by train?
Or will our bus travel by land
Whichever it is I get to sit next to Fan

No, to tell ya the truth, I've been pretty blessed. I live in a beautiful place, have wonderful Hubby(most of the time), great family, good health, freedom, maybe I'm too easily contented .
I lived away from my family for many years, and think now is a good time for me to settle down be here, for them. Now that I've sown a LOT of wild oats. I know a lot of friends who don't have that. Either the opportunity to travel, or to return & have Family to come back to.:h

Hmmm..

If I had one wish then what would it be?
I think I'd help people - people like me.
I'd ask for a gift - to heal people's pain
To take away craving and aching and shame.

Yes, I'd be a physican - but a very special type
I'd help people with addictions take control of their life
Of course there'd be magic in the skills that I had
I'd love every minute of it cause the work made me glad

I wouldnt need money - i'd already have plenty
And I wouldnt need to charge anyone - not even a penny.
