      Hi all
      Just reporting in before I go to bed, no coffee tonight so hopefully I will get some sleep, it was gone 1am this morning before I got some sleep and I was awake at 6.30am so I have'nt done much today, but I am still feeling great....I am really liking this A/F life, I think it might even suit me!!!

        Morning all,

        Just a quick note on reading material - Just received a book I ordered for my teen, which I will read again myself first & I highly recommend: Wild Swans by Jung Chang
        It's basically the story of 3 daughters of China - a family memoir of grandmother, mother & daughter so sort of 3 books moving from old China, through the revolution etc..
        Excellent read & very informative & thought provoking.. found it hard to put down last time.

        Bridge, I begin day 1 induction today.. yechh! Hope you're hangin in there

          Morning all,
          Fick's and Bridgee, shake those asses!

          Grindos, it must be so frustrating for you, and everyone in your family to try to deal and live with mental illness. A gent (client) i work with, was saying to me yesterday how frustrating this is for him. My job, and his, (i.e. this is part of a plan we've jointly come up with) is to make the very best of what he's got, and more, and to just go for the happiest, most satisfying quality of life possible. Seems simple enough, but still a challenge at this point, and might alway's be. Anyway, your rockin' it friend!

            Fick's, yep, heard that book is a good one. It's a few years old, non? I have a vague, drunken, distant memory from my daze as 'anyone's for the night', a couple of casual/semi permanent, oh i dunno!, dalliances talking about the book.

              Good Morning all.
              Well look at you powering along Miss Ronnie.......a much happier girly we have.
              Good luck with induction there Fickle. Hopefully the carb detoxing you've already done will help with induction type symptoms. I had a wee slip up on the carbs last night Ficks, so today will be interesting in terms of withdrawal type stuff. Overall, I'd have to say I feel much better and more stable without all the refined white stuff.
              LOVING this cooler weather. AMazing what you can acheive when you're not sweating your arse off.

                well I've just read the last few days posts and I've decided you lot are absolutely barmy! when i am completely AF, will i be barmy too?? are then any supps i can take to stop it happening????!:H

                  Yes you will and no - no supplements available. Our geographical position deems it to be an irrefutable national condition.

                  I'm with Bridge - going like the clappers to make the most of the kinder weather. Not an Ebay purchase in sight.

                        Hello!

                        Hello all....well I am back and feeling abit more positive about life and 2010 is going to be my year...

                        Fickle I can't believe it but I was thinking of booking an appointment with Dr George and you have mentioned him! I went to him about 20 years ago and he treated my sister for scitzefreenia (sp?) and truly created a miracle. So am definitley going to book one with him. I think reading about him was a sign

                        I have lot to catch up on with you all and not all of you know me but hope to get to know you all better.

                        Am going to Sydney today to see Mumma Mia tomorrow so wont be back till Sunday but hope you all have a good weekend.

                            Morning all
                            Welcome back Shas, its good to see you, I watched the film mamma mia and I thought it was great so I hope you have a lovely time.
                            Well it looks like we have your weather as the Tee-ball carnival on Sunday has been cancelled as it will be at least 42 that day, so my eldest wont be very happy when I tell him. My middle boy has his carnival tommorrow so at least my mum & dad will get to see what the game is all about.
                            Well im off to sort out one of my cupboards cause when I open the door everything falls out of it.

                                I'm sure you've already found it Fickle, but here's the Atkins site. The entire plan and all of the tools on the site are free and they're great IMO. I just can't work out why it's all free
