What's up for the weekend? I'm looking forward to a few treats for father's day on Sunday. I also need to cut my hair (what's left of it). Other than that, not much planned.

Its more breakfast than a lot of folks eat, cant get my son to eat a thing till about 11. Still I was the same when younger. Speaking of age I am feeling old these days, minor health niggles popping up, all rather depressing.

Thank fook its Friday. I have my race on Sunday which I am not exactly looking forward to but I am wondering if I can run the whole 5k.....actually scrap that. I WILL run the whole 5k!

Yesterday as a work initiative I have started going into a school once a week for an hour to listen to little children read. Its amazing how so many of them dont get the opportunity to practice their reading at home. Anyway its a lovely feeling doing this, I really feel as if I am doing something worthwhile.

Its called Right to Read if anyone else in the UK wants to get involved.

Morning army its bucking down here been like this since yesterday afternoon. Its mild tho. Starty thats a lovely thing to do i guess most parents are to busy to listen to their children read at home. Or may be some just don't bother or encourage. Good to hear you are feeling better tipps. Just going to do some housework today and i am hoping to make an AA meeting if the rain stops. Not long awake and the coffee hasn't kicked in yet. KTAB i'm probably older than you lol and sometimes feel it sometimes i feel half my age its a state of mind.
