Thanks for the warm welcome. Techie has started a new thread for the army so will give that a go and see if it works. I?ll take another 24 with gratitude.

Good morning cafe, I, like Ginger did not mean to offend anyone. We are here to help and support each other. I’m sorry about all the issues that have been mentioned. Some of us have not experienced any problems and were not used to hearing anything negative regarding this site. I hope we can all just agree to get along.

Hiya all, some may know me some may not. I am mick,I am Scottish, was born at an early age, and yes I had a problem with drink, like a good amount of us,i could not control the amount i chucked down my neck..then from nowhere I had a serious issue that nearly cost me my life. The skills of surgeons and dedication of nurses saved me. I quit drinking as a mark of respect to them and to change my life that was over 11 years ago .the reason I am telling you this, is that each and everyone of the people helped on this site .molls satzy jacs and lots more some of whom are no longer here .my point is, we poston the site on a daily basis some of us,and post regular sometimes the posts may seem curious, abrupt, opinionated and written in a nasty context. Some may take umbrage at the remarks or indeed interpret them in a different manner. The authors of such may be having a bad time, the readers may be too The written word is non emotive. What is written can be seen by individuals in their own ways and again depending on their mood /current situation
Please do not lose focus of why everyone is here..th help each other with drinking issues..yes there will be ups and downs, but is it worth breaking the bonds of what brought us all together

Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.

I was finally able to log into this site today, but it looks as though a few wires have been crossed among some of the members here. Mick, great post, and I totally agree with you about how easily the written word can be perceived differently from reader to reader. Combine that with the fact that it doesn't take much to turn a molehill into a mountain and suddenly we have drama. I love having the army group here, and hope that they stick around. There's a saying in AA that I really like. "Let go, and let God."
abcowboy, you do have a Canadian accent and I loved hearing it in your video.

24 more for all of us please...

Good morning Cafe. Waking up to a cool 72 degrees. Once September rolls around you really start to notice the shorter days. I guess lots of cookouts will be happening on this Labor Day. Hope everyone has a great and sober day! 24 more please.

For any members not aware of it, I created a back-up or alternative site for us to go to if for any reason MWO goes down due to server problems, maintenance, or whatever. Ginger999 posted the link to the site in her post above, thanks Ginger!

Yep the days are definitely getting shorter Rava, and up here the mornings are much cooler as well.

Well, we finished the barley on Friday, and only had 300 acres of oats so we finished up those yesterday, now on to the wheat. Going pretty good so hopefully it will stay that way lol.

Re: ~cattleman cafe~ & another 24...

Not being able to log in yesterday morning and Saturday all day had me very concerned that the site might be shut down permanently. I was grateful that I had abcowboy 's alternative bookmarked and my log in credentials already set up. I was able to go there and shout out to cowboy. He got back to me in a timely manner and told me that he was pretty sure that the site was down for maintenance. I highly recommend everyone go there and get established as well. It was a great relief to me to still be able to see cowboy and Ginger999 there and posting. I checked in there both days.

I completely understood satz123 's fatigue and her plea to have somebody else to make explanations because she was wiped out emotionally having just lost her mother. But I also know how easily written words can miss the target and how things can go so awry! I hope the army folks will keep posting here with us as they please. They are most welcome!

24 more please and thank you.

Glad to see the site back up! Don't want to ever lose contact with all of you! Headed out tomorrow for our last RV adventure of the season. A week in Northern WA. Should be a great time! I'll take another day!

Yup, a couple dark rainy days, with the evenings being so much shorter now, it's suddenly starting almost to feel like winter is beginning to close in, haha. How easy it is to forget that it was still 30C degrees out a couple of days ago. That being said, the rest of the week (sunny in the low 20C's) looks spectacular!

Good morning cafe! Sitting on the back porch listening to all of the night sounds. It's truly peaceful and a great way to start the day. Temps have been in the upper 80's and the humidity is high. Today and tomorrow are going to be hot, but unfortunately, the canning must go on. Ugh...

24 more please...

I hear you, Jude! We just had another day of salsa making due to an unexpected gift of fresh tomatoes from a neighbor. I'm glad the preserving season is winding down. But we'll be really happy to have the fruits of our labor over the next several months!

Forum Manager, I really appreciate your continued efforts as well as Zach's. When I couldn't log in recently I didn't necessarily assume that you or Zach had intentionally shut it down. I was worried that something had happened that resulted in myself not being able to access the site but that others were still connected. Or that some troll had hacked the sight. I really am grateful to you both for your continued work.

24 more for all of us here, please and thank you.
