Your property is truly beautiful, Dill!
I think I am hearing peepers around here too, Jude.
Do you cook the crabs, Rava?
It went to a botanical type gardens yesterday with three daughters, their friend and her little daughter & husband, and 4 grandchildren. Then over to D2’s for lunch.
It was kind of exhausting with my illness. Young Daughter was overstimulated and over it with too many little kids, so we spent the rest of the day watching TV and reading.
I have been a real bore for her. But she is pale & tired and needing to rest too after a busy week at college, so hopefully I am not dragging her down.
I am glad that you are all enjoying nice weekends, and out in your beautiful nature environments.
Double-smoked ham sounds delicious, Cowboy. The ham my brother smoked for Christmas was amazing.
Once a pickle, never a cucumber again.

Wow, Slo! That was a full day. Hope you two can rest up so young daughter goes back refreshed!
Dill, that area is gorgeous beyond words and Lily is beautiful. I'm afraid I'd have to crawl up in that hole a ways just to see what I could see. Lol Thank you for sharing with us.
Jude, can we see your creek next? :~)
Rava, are you excited to be headed north? I bet those crab were delicious!
Hey ABC and Mul!
I'll take another day of freedom!

Happy Easter cafe!
Dill, your property looks gorgeous, and so is Lily!
Rava, I know what you mean about the traffic in Florida as it was pretty heavy while I was there. I bet that you won't miss that!
Waves to all!
24 more for all of us please...

Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

Happy Easter, Everyone! I'm looking forward to peace and quiet since we had our family get together yesterday. It was really nice and the turkey was moist and delicious.
Jude, I heard the peepers yesterday all day. It was lovely. I wish that sound lasted longer.
Ginger, that picture didn't capture the gorge very well. It was pretty much just the view we see from the clearing we have made for our chairs. Believe me, I have been in that creek and walked in the small gorge area on other occasions. And when I took that picture, granddaughter was doing just as you said, climbing and exploring inside the gorge area.
I'm worn out from all the food prep and clean up from yesterday and am looking forward to our Sunday morning treat, Cowboy!
Rava, we are going to have temps in the 70's all this week! I'll feel like I'm with you in Florida.
Slo, Ejnoy your Easter Sunday however you end up spending it.
24 more for all of us please and thank you.Dill

Thank you for a special Easter greeting and breakfast, Cowboy! Young Daughter & I enjoyed a similar breakfast out yesterday. She is now at her dad’s house.
I cleaned my whole car yesterday, plus an oil change; plus got all new tires -they were wearing and had a leak due to a nail in one.
Your Easter dinner sounds successful, Dill! I don’t have the extra energy for anything, so am just going out for an Easter brunch at noon with my sister.
I am trying to muster the energy to go for a swim.
I wish you all a good Easter!Once a pickle, never a cucumber again.
