Cowboy, how far is the farm from your house in Veg? Looking forward to some videos of you working the fields.

Slo, hope that you feel better soon. I used to try and do too much in one day, and it always left me exhausted. Now I try to do a little each day instead of one big marathon and it really helps.

Rava, your tiny house sounds perfect! What did your doctor say about having knuckle surgery?

Hey Mul! Hope that you are doing ok.

    24 more please...

Good morning Cafe. Slo, I hope you get your strength back and feel better soon! Jude, the doc said that as long as I am successfully managed with the cortisone injections that he would not recommend the surgery. Only if the injections stop working. So that is fine with me. I am hoping this injection will last me until I return to florida in 6 months. I like this hand doc because he gives a shot using an ultrasound machine to make sure he injects in the perfect area. My previous docs did not do that. Well i hope everyone has a good and sober day. 24 more for us alll!

As I sit and look out the window this morning I see that the Northern Red Oak is leafing out. I love that tree. We planted it in my Dad's memory when he died back in 2002. It really offers a lot of nice shade in the summer.

Cowboy, I think you'll be too busy to be terribly lonely, but I'm glad you have planned visits with Bubba.

Jude, I think Mr. D and I are going to buy a few more fish and at the same time, some frog tadpoles. I love the sound of bullfrogs, don't you?

Ginger, I wondered if you would be pursuing hand crafts since your mobility is limited. I'll be you are frustrated with that darned old osteoarthritis.! I wish I could wave a magic wand and fix it for you.

Rava you and Mr. R really have made some excellent choices in terms of your homes and how you manage your time between the two places!

          Hellooooo, Mul!

24 more for all of us here, please and thank you.
          Dill

Bubba used to come out and spend the odd night with me when we lived in Vermilion Rava, but she hasn't done that since we moved to Vegreville. She'll make a trip out to drop something off in the camper if I run out of something, but otherwise we won't see each other till we get rained out or finish seeding. Did you learn anything about a knuckle replacement from your Doc?

The farm is about a 40 minute drive from Veg Jude, about 10 minutes longer than it was from Vermilion. Too much travelling to go home every night so that's why I stay in the camper.

We all have to learn to slow down and take things easier as we get older Slo, I'm thinking a house cleaner might be a good idea for you.

I did take a short video yesterday, I'll try and get it uploaded today. We finished the peas yesterday and switched over to oats to seed a field for green feed. This is a new piece of land Corey just rented, it was a buffalo pasture for years and now going to be farmed. Should make for an interesting day lol.

Waves to dill and Ginger, have a great day everyone!

Dill, I absolutely believe the hand went when I switched from hiking/walking to crafts. Advanced osteoarthritis is no joke, I'll tell you that! I had a hand appointment yesterday and they tell me nothing left to do but a cmc joint replacement. I'll be pondering that until I see the surgeon on June 15. They said it takes up to a year to be back to normal. Enough of that! Counting my blessings. It could be so much worse.

              One day down, ABC!

              Hey Jude, Slo, Rava, Mul!

Let's all have an easy AF day!
