    Good morning cafe! I actually slept in until 6:00 o'clock and boy did it feel good! What a difference a little extra sleep can make. Looks like I'll need it to shovel as we are expected to get 8-12 inches of snow today and tonight. I love it when I can stay home and watch the snow coming down.

    Mul, I have friends in AA that do the same thing. They meet once a week for coffee or breakfast and just enjoy each others company. I know that AA is not for everyone, but the support of my home group has been incredible. There's nothing like sitting in a room full of people that share the same addiction as I do. I get advise from people that have been in the program for over 30 years and it goes a long way in keeping me sober. Coming here everyday has also helped tremendously. I consider all of you as friends and this forum has also played a large part of keeping me sober. I do appreciate each and every one of you!

      Well Mulburry, I'm all for you fixing us a Wednesday or Thursday brunch!

      We're getting snow all day as well Jude, but thankfully not as much as you. There's a bit of snow out there now and still coming down.

      Waves to the rest of the gang, hope y'all enjoy your leftovers today, nothing better than turkey sandwiches or turkey on a bun!

      Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
      Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
      Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

        Hope you enjoy the snowfall, Cowboy and Jude. I am happy to say that we will be having none! However, it is bitter cold, and I am sure our day will come for the snow. It seems Fall disappeared over night!

          Good morning Cafe. Mul, I love your idea hope we can make it happen. Freezing cold here this morning with a lot of wind. Of course this is nothing for you Canadians. Hope everyone has a good Black Friday. I will not be shopping in public today but maybe check out some online sales. 24 more please and thank you.

            I didn't check in yesterday! I completely forgot. We had a great dinner with friends then cards and pie. We also got in a couple family video calls. All AF free

            No shopping planned for me today! I'll take another day!
