Yikes, stay warm Jude! There's nothing good about those extremely cold temps.

I'm not much of a football fan dill, but when it comes to snacks I like the oven style finger foods, hot wings, garlic wings breaded cheese jalapenos, etc.

Most of my older customers "tip" me with coffee and some sort of sweet to go along with it Ginger. I think it's not just because they appreciate the work, but they enjoy the company as well.

Those graphic dreams can sometimes be hard to let go Peachie, I've had some that made it hard to get back to sleep after waking up from them.

Those sip and paint parties were a big thing around here for a while Rava but seemed to have died out now. Glad you were able to enjoy it with your sparkling water even though your painting found the trash bin haha.

Not much new for me today, will probably vacuum the carpets and wash the floors. Exciting day eh lol.

Good morning Cafe. I agree with you Jude, Spinach and A. Dip is good. I don’t know what Rye boat dip is? I like the Super Bowl commercials but thats about it. In fact last night on You Tube we watched past Super Bowl commercials. Some were quite funny. Today is more mahjong for me from 1 - 4 pm. Keeps me busy and not thinking about booze. I will take it! My hubby can't wait for the super bowl. He'll be a nervous wreck though. He loves his Seahawks! Fingers crossed they win. We leave Sunday morning for our little get away so we need to get to our hotel and settled in at 3p. Cyrus is going too.

Hi everyone. Wow Jude , stay warm.

We have got a cyclone brewing up the north of Western Australia at the moment. I think you call them hurricanes. This one is not too scarey at the moment. Just a Cat 1, so hope it stays that way.

My state is huge so it's a long way away. Gosh the world's weather is definitely changing as is a lot of things. Doesn't feel as safe as it used to be and lots of yucky people around.

Still trying to find something as engaging as Nurse Jackie to watch . No worries I sit on my bottom too much anyway!

I think we all love a visit with people Cowboy. We can tend to get more isolated as we get older . I know I do.

Anyway you know what I'm going to say!

Well, Jude, I am not much of a football fan either, and I cannot bear to watch the Super Bowl half-time show anymore as it has gotten too....well, let's just say it's too much for me. I'm pretty much all about the snacks, and like Rava, the commercials. You bring the rye bread boat dip and I'll make the spinach/artichoke dip with pita chips. I too love that rye dip snack! Everybody's welcome! Bring an appetizer and I'll make a pot of chili. See you all Sunday evening at my house!

Rava, I have a single serving of beets left. I think I'll snack on it later and try it with Feta. I've never had that combo but I bet it's good!

Cowboy, with tips from you customers like that, it's a good thing you've cut back on your house calls! You would have a struggle keeping at a fit weight with all those treats!

Ginger, is the get away just for you and Mr. G? Sounds like fun! Hope for his sake you have good TV reception wherever you are. I'm sure Cyrus will love it too!

Peachie, I had an unsettling dream a few nights ago. Even at our age, our dreams can leave us feeling off kilter. I got out of bed and in a few moments the dream was forgotten, but the anxiety it evoked remained. I had to distract myself with an audiobook to get back to sleep. We are having quite the snowstorm at the moment. I must say the people in our area are all feeling weary of this winter. Even my one friend who LOVES snow said she is ready to see it go.

Yes, bad dreams can really shake me up when I have one. They just seem so real when you're having one, and I have some beauties. I used to have this recurring dream where I would see a plane plummeting from the sky, then bursting into games when it hit the ground. Terrifying.

Ginger, I had the same problem with truncated posts whenever I used the degree sign. Now I just write out the word instead.

Dill, what time should we be at your house tomorrow? I'll bring the rye boat dip and chips!

I have to go out today and help my neighbor fill her pill box. I really don't want to step out of the house today with all of the snow, wind and bitter cold. We've had about 4 inches of snow overnight and it's blowing and drifting. Brrr...

Ginger, hope you have a nice little getaway with Mr. G. Sounds fun. Jude, I have recurrent dreams of losing my car in a parking lot and wandering around and never find it. Very distressing. This morning is our once a month community breakfast. Everyone brings a dish and we enjoy coffee and food. I hope everyone has a great and warm Saturday. My tiny home is 7 degrees. I have my son check it out for leaks and problems and so far so good. It’s starting to warm up a bit in florida and may hit 70 today. Yippee. 24 more please and thank you!

I liked watching the Budweiser Clydesdale commercials during the Superbowl Rava, but haven't seen one of those for a couple of years or more.

Ginger, what a fun get away for you Mr.G and Cyrus. I'm really itching to go someplace warm right about now. My sisters and I hope to rent a house on the beach this summer and I sure hope that we find something. Cabin fever has set in.

Dill, setting up a new computer is definitely not my thing. I'm lucky that Mr. J is really good at fixing electronics. Maybe he can work on your computer when we come over for the Superbowl.

Cowboy, I may complain a lot about the snow and cold, but as you said we are lucky that we rarely get severe weather like tornados and hurricanes. Something to be grateful for...
