Good morning Cafe. Cowboy wow -49 wind chill is not even imaginable to me. Stay warm!!! Ginger thanks for the info about logging into TikTok. Luckily it’s back on. I know there is a lot of bad stuff on that site but I have learned so much from it. Sober Tik Tok is quite helpful to me. Hope everyone has a great and sober Monday! 24 more please and thank you.

Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

There's good and bad on all the social media platforms. I think the risk with tik tok is that so many young people were using it and dangerous challenges cropped up. I don't hear as much about that these days. The big concern with tik tok is that it is owned by ByteDance which is a Chinese company and as such, the Communist government there can gather data from users. ByteDance would be required to turn data over to the Communist government there. It's a National Security issue. I hope something can get worked out because a lot of people enjoy the use of tik tok and I bet that Sober group you mentioned Rava, is really beneficial to loads of folks.
Meantime, I'm focusing on staying warm and keeping the animals safe and keeping the pipes from freezing....
24 more for all of us here, please and thank you.

It's about the same temp here as yesterday morning but thankfully it's supposed to warm up considerably throughout the day and get back to much warmer seasonal temps.
Waves to the whole gang, have a great one y'all!Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...

Sorry, Jude! That must be so frustrating when your posts disappear!
It's 5F (-15C) here this morning but is supposed to be -6F overnight tonight. That will be the worst of it for this week. It will be cold Thursday and Friday but more in the normal range. For my part, At least there has been a lot of sunshine!
Our grandson (10yo) called in a panic yesterday as he had spun off the road in icy conditions and couldn't get back on. He was on his way to work and was within a half mile of our house so he called us, and Mr. D was able to get there and help him get back on the roadway. A little damage to his bumper but no serious damage or injury, and a very valuable lesson learned about winter driving.
24 more for all of us here, please and thank you.

Good morning Cafe. Dill, what was your 10 year old grandson driving? A 4 wheeler? I am confused. Seems like everyone is having cold cold weather! Cold here as well but no complaints here. Wishing everyone a great and sober day. Hope I don’t get in trouble for saying this but I am looking forward to change in our country. 24 more please and thank you.

It seems like Ginger was on the right track with the numbers Jude, maybe you'll have to spell out numbers in order to keep your post.
I'm a bit confused dill, your 10 year old grandson hit the ditch on his way to work, or did he call to say your son hit the ditch and needed help? At least everyone is safe with little damage.
I watched my first Presidential Inauguration yesterday, I had no idea it was such a fancy event lasting the entire day and evening. From the looks of things there could well be some big changes in store for more than just your country Rava.
What a crazy area Bubba and I live in, it was -31C (-24F) yesterday morning and this morning its -1C (30F). And next week we're supposed to get too well above freezing temps during the day. Crazy indeed!Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...

Sorry, Jude. You may want to stay away from numbers like ABC said. Not sure what else can be done.
Dill, we are all over here scratching our heads about a 10yo driving! I thought your gson was 18 or 19?
Waves to all! I'll take another day

Thanks for the invite to stop by the cafe more, abcowboy and Jude58! I would like to take you up on that.
It’s cold here too; -13F.
Jude, do you refresh your page to MWO often? That’s what was recommended to me when my posts were disappearing, and it has worked.
Let there be light! I had electricians in yesterday to put light kits in the ceiling fans in this condo that I moved into in August, and get everything hooked up to wall switches. They put in a surge protector too. Hopefully that is a god thing.
I’ll take another day today too.Once a pickle, never a cucumber again.

Welcome to the cafe Slo and thanks for the advice about refreshing the page, I will certainly give it a whirl.
Dill, I was also scratching my head trying to figure out how a ten year old could drive a car and have a job. Oops.
Minus ten degrees this morning but thankfully there is no wind. Looks like a lot of us are in a deep freeze. Brrr...
Who wants to join me in
