That's great news about your sister Ginger, it's always good to hear when someone else puts down the bottle, especially a family member.

And such sad news about your brother Slo, maybe he'll put it down one day as well.

Good morning Cafe. Slo, i bet your nephews loved you coming over and playing cards. Too bad your brother can’t see his own troubles. Ginger so glad your sister has dropped the drink. Well I went to the dentist in tears yesterday morning and they said they never got my messages over the weekend. The office nurse even showed me her call log and was clearly upset. I let her know how upset I was and basically cried a little. They arranged for me to see an oral surgeon right around the corner who packed the tooth with medicated gauze and sent me home with a special “witches brew” antiseptic mouth rinse. I have to go back today for follow up. The oral surgeon didnt even charge me. I guess my dental office foot the bill. I am feeling 100 percent better! The tylenol with codeine only held back the pain for 2 hours so it was not all that great of a pain reliever. Once the pain went away my whole attitude got better. Mentally I felt to much better. People living with chronic pain have my complete sympathy. Hope everyone has a great and sober day. 24 more please and thank you.

I agree, Rava; I don’t know how people do it (live with chronic pain). So glad that the dental office has responded appropriately to your plight, and is getting you good help.

I am heading up an hour to spend the day with my daughter and three young grandchildren.

So thankful that I broke free of AL addiction as well -thankful for all of us!

Wow, Rava! I wonder what happened to your calls? It sounds like they made it right and got you on the path to healing but jeez. It was avoidable, if you could have reached them. Glad you're feeling better!

Slo, that's so sad about your brother and the affect on his kids.

Slo, so sorry to hear about your brother's problems. Addiction is a terrible thing. It's so hard on entire families.

Rava, glad to hear you are feeling so much better! I wonder what happened to your calls and messages at the dentist's office. I'm glad they made it right for you.

We had a huge tree taken down yesterday. It was right by the house and was losing limbs. We were afraid every time there was a wind storm! It cost $3003.00 to have it taken down and the stump ground out. It was cut to firewood lengths so we have a pretty good start for next year!

I'm glad you were able to get some relief for your pain Rava, hopefully you'll be all healed up soon.

How was the day with your daughter and g-kids go Slo, I bet they are happy when they get to see you.

Wow, that's a lot of money to get a tree removed dill, but I guess it's worth it in the long run considering the damage it might have caused.

Cowboy, it was truly a lot of money to get that tree removed, but totally necessary. The tree was about 80ft tall, so that, and the proximity to the house, made for a tricky situation.

Good morning Cafe. Wishing you a safe and fun trip Jude! Woot Woot!!! Dill I am glad you got that tree taken down. It’s worth the money as your peace of mind will be much better! My daughter had 4 trees taken down to a cost of 8,000 so I understand. Heading out to the pool today with my sister in law. Back to dentist tomorrow to have the packing switched out. Apparently a dry socket is similar to a wound on your skin where you need packing. Anyway, waves to everyone here! 24 more please and thank you!!

Rava, I've heard the term dry socket my entire life but never experienced it or new someone that did til now. Sounds horrible. Glad you're on the mend.

Dill, for what needed done, it sounds like 3 grand was reasonable and worth it. I'm sure you can sleep better knowing it's gone.

I’m excited for you too, Jude! You will get to spend time at both sisters’ houses!

I got to see dear old Uncle Don today (ex-HB’s uncle), since I found myself near his house after driving to a location to get fasting blood work done. So that was a nice visit! He’s still doing pretty well for almost 95, although he’s worried that he might not pass his driver’s test & license renewal tomorrow due to vision loss.

I didn’t realize that tree removal is so expensive, just like I didn’t realize that new windows are so expensive. But, everything is going up in price. At least windows have; maybe tree removal has stayed stable.

The grandkids are so young yet that they really do like to have me visit! Especially little 2 y/o Cooper! I read stories to Cooper & Mabel, did crafts with Cooper, built a Magna Tile tower with Beckett, and played a game with Mabel & Beckett. I’m trying to enjoy them while they’re young, and soak up those hugs! (None of those anymore from Beckett, the oldest.) My pain & mobility problems have cramped my style quite a bit though, but I do what I can.

Enjoyed the warmer weather today! Spring is coming.

Wow, 95 and still driving! That's amazing Slo.

I would have liked to watch them remove an 80' tree dill, how long did it take them?
