Good news about Ellie Jude, not so good with the vet bill though. Hope she gets back to normal soon. Are you going to volunteer today?

I had a chuckle about the twofer as well Mulburry haha. Can you even but beer that way anymore. I think a 16 pack was the biggest you could get when I quit drinking, or maybe that's all I bought because that's all I needed to get through the day lol.

I'd have done the same as Mr R Rava, would never spend that much money on an old truck just for cosmetics. Have fun with the stickers!

Hmmm, maybe we should call you the Chaos Lady dill lol. Somehow I don't picture you as a senior party animal haha. I have only had stuffed poppers once, they were filled with cream cheese and ground chicken and were very tasty!

I was finally able to get the grass cut yesterday! Many trips involved emptying the bag though. And Corey texted to say the header training was moved till tomorrow afternoon so I've got some time now to get the camper stocked up and ready for harvest.

Sure hope Slo is doing okay...

Good morning all! It's cool and breezy outside which feels wonderful after all the hot weather we've been having. So refreshing!

Ellie is feeling better today and is eating a little bit, so I think that she is on the mend. She is an indoor only cat, so I'm not sure where this respiratory virus came from. Either way, I'm just glad that she's feeling better.

Yesterday at my volunteer job I was scratched pretty badly by one of the cats at the shelter. She was a feral cat that had escaped from her cage and we were trying to get her back into it when I got nailed. Poor thing, she wasn't mean, just terrified. I cleaned out the wound and covered it with gauze. It's pretty sore this morning and I will keep an eye out for any signs of infection.

Slo and techie, hope that you are both doing ok....

Oh Jude! Sorry you got scratched so badly! I hope it heals quickly. Very good news about Ellie!

Cowboy, Some of my poppers were stuffed with cream cheese and sausage and some were stuffed with cream cheese and shredded Cheddar. I tried to embed a photo but couldn't manage it somehow. Sorry. I'm going to have to practice at that sometime when I have a bit more time.

Rava, I'm not even sure what you meant by Sticker books. Are they eBooks or actual paper? Was the smiley you embedded one of the stickers? You are such an interesting person! You get into lots of rabbit holes that I find interesting.

Dill you will be the senior party animal. I have a lot of friends my age that stay up all hours of the night and love it. I am a morning person and you wont catch me up past 9:30. LOL. Best keep that scratch disinfected and covered Jude, don't need you into a round of antibiotics because of an infection.

Hopefully Erin stays well clear of the coast Rava. Be interesting to see how high the waves get though.

Off to Corey's this morning for our training session. Got the camper pretty much set for harvest, just need to take clothes and food later this week once we get started.

Rava, that sticker art sure turned out well. I have seen those aimed at older children.

Thankfully the experienced but old-school pedorthist fashioned me a “foot girdle” made out of strong, inflexible tape, so it is holding that foot together and limiting the painful splaying! So now I can walk a bit more. The MRI and EMG of the foot were abnormal, and I hope that the podiatrist visit tomorrow will yield actual solutions.

Good advice has been given on that cat scratch, Jude. Glad your kitty is feeling better.

My daughter was here all weekend, and it was wonderful!!

I have been getting so hopeful about having my twin sister live with me, and have picked out a new condo to build that would accommodate both of us better. It would be such a comfort to visit together, and watch shows together; support one another and grow old together.
BUT, then at a family gathering this weekend, there she is sneaking vodka drinks and pouring them into her water bottle, then hiding the empties in her cooler. And every gathering I am at with her, she caves and gets into the booze.
I get so hopeful that she is getting sober and embracing the AF lifestyle. But no -she is a chronic, active alcoholic. And I cannot live with that. So I have to face that my dream has died.

Anyhow, 24 more hours for us please!
