We're headed into a weeklong heatwave as well Mulburry, in the 90's for most of the coming week. That's a bit too hot for me but it's good harvest weather. I never thought about fruit fermenting on it's own like that, but I guess it makes some sense.

I remember Paul Harvey and his Rest of the Story dill. I think I listened to it on the radio daily.
I got to be a camper bachelor last night lol. We put in most of a full day from 10:00 yesterday morning till 9:00 last night. Got quite a few peas taken off and should hopefully finish them up today. It will be oats next if they are ready, but Corey thinks they might need another day or two to dry down enough.
