Good morning Cafe. Glad to hear you are doing well but busy with doc appts, Mul. Sorry about your friend as well. Our sliding glass door is fixed and it’s nice to see outside again. LOL. I am going to pack my digital frame and take it to florida with me. This frame has a calendar too which is nice. I got it from my DIL since she was upgrading to a wall one. So this 15 inch one is amazing. But too expensive to just Willy nilly buy another one. Hope everyone has a good and sober day.

We could use rain as well Jude, but at this point we're all hoping it holds off till after harvest.

Mul, glad you stopped in. Sorry medical stuff has been keeping you so busy lately. Hope all is resolved soon. The days are getting shorter and shorter. I used to like that back in the day when I was drinking fairly heavily. Now, I seem to like longer daylight better...But it was the beginning of Autumn two days ago, so that means we're heading into the dark of winter soon.

Cowboy, I bet it is really dusty! Last week when they were combining the soybeans the dust clouds were crazy! I kept the garage doors down to reduce the dust on the vehicles.

We got a good rain last night and yesterday. I don't know how much we got because Mr. D hasn't been out yet to check his rain gauge, but I'm pretty confident that it is a half inch or more. We needed i!

I got my flu shot today. I wouldn't get one but it's a requirement of "employment" at the hospital where I volunteer.

Dill, many years ago I had a bad case of swine flu and became very ill with it, so get a flu vaccine every year. Never want to be sick like that again. Ugh...thought that I was going to die!

Ginger, peanut is slowly beginning to trust us a little more each day. She used to run and hide if we walked near her but she's gotten a lot better about it. It's going to take awhile, but with a little patience and kindness she will come around.

Cowboy, do you wear a mask when things get dusty while you're harvesting? Gotta protect those lungs!

Rava, glad that you can finally see out through the doors again. It's so bizarre how the glass just randomly shattered, but at least its fixed now.

Thankfully we're not out of the cabs for very long Jude, and if we are it's usually for a short period of time (quick bathroom break lol) so we don't wear masks. The cabs have very efficient air filters that keep the dust down, but need cleaning every couple of days as do the engine air filters.

I've never gotten a flu shot dill, Bubba has to get one every year as well as she's considered a hospital employee even if it's just on a call-in basis.

I remember the days when I was young Ginger and helping my best friend on their farm, it was an open air tractor and we would be covered in dirt. The worst was getting the dirt out of our ears lol.

Jude, so sorry to hear you suffered through that swine flu. I hope you never have to go through that again. I'll definitely take your warning under advisement. I had no problem with yesterday's shot. My arm was a little sore around the injection site, but that's all gone now and I felt fine and slept well.

Good morning Cafe. Jude, so glad Peanut is starting to come around. She is a lucky cat! Dill, I have not gotten a flu shot since I retired. I used to have to get them as an employment requirement. Cowboy, those fields sound really dusty. So glad you are enclosed in the cab for the most part. Going out to lunch today with some retirees. All are non drinkers so no issues there as I mentioned I am not a day drinker so I am not tempted anyway. Hope everyone has a great and sober day. 24 more please and thank you.
