Nope, no deer for us this year again Jude, but the father/son time out hunting was priceless.

It was a cash bar dill, $5:00 per drink, and they only had beer, wine, and wine coolers, no hard liquor at all. There was only one fella that had a bit too much but he was still pretty well behaved. It doesn't bother me anymore to be around booze/drinking so I still enjoyed the dinner of roast beef and dancing with Bubba. How was the meal at your neighbor's, what did you take?

Waves to Rava and Ginger, and of course Mulburry.

    No today...

Good morning Cafe. I purposely waited for breakfast before posting. LOL. Thanks Cowboy. Sorry about no deer but glad your time was well spent with Adam. Dill, you taught me a new word. I have never heard of a carry in? I am assuming it’s like a pot luck. Hope everyone has a good and relaxing Sunday. Hi to everyone and 24 more for us all!

Just in time for breakfast! Yummy Thanks, ABC! It sounds like you and Bubba had fun. It's a nice outing for seniors. They had a pool party here yesterday but we didn't attend. I'm not feeling much like socializing in a crowd. Happily, hubby didn't want to either.

I'm glad the hunters here enjoyed the time even though there was nothing bagged.

I crochet and taught my oldest gdaughter when she was around 8yo. She never stopped and can make anything with a pattern! Now, she could teach me a thing or two-hundred about crocheting. Lol

Nope. Still freaked out about the surgery. Oh well, it won't make me drink because that would just be dumb. I'll take another day of freedom!

Glad you had fun at the dance and also on the hunt with Adam, Cowboy. Sounds like a good day for a good Cowboy! For the carry in I made a tuna pasta salad which was delicious and Mr. D made a pumpkin pie. Both turned out great, but there was SO much food there we had to take some home with us. Lots of good comfort foods and for the protein there was turkey, ham and venison. All wonderful! For dessert there was pumpkin pie, pecan pie, cherry pie, and pumpkin roll, all homemade! Thanks, yet again, for the wonderful breakfast.

Rava, did you enjoy your Thanksgiving without the wine or booze this year? It definitely gets easier with practice.

Ginger, I offer to teach my granddaughter how to crochet every now and then, but so far, she hasn't shown an interest. I hope someday.... It's wonderful that your granddaughter took to it and can now teach you a thing or two! What a gift for her to have gained a lifelong skill from her grandmother! I c
an understand you having the jitters over the surgery. I can't wait until it is in your rearview mirror!

          Hi Jude and Mul!

24 more for all of us here, please and thank you.

Dont forget, you can: start late, start over, be unsure, try and fail AND STILL SUCCEED!

If it is important to you, you will find a way. If not, you will find an excuse.
