Hi Everyone. It's late again. I found a show called Nurse Jackie and got totally hooked. She's an absolute delight!

I loved married life and had lots of fun and sport with the boys. It was quite idyllic really and one of the best periods of my life. i waited til the boys went to school and decided to go to Uni as a mature student and study psychology. I loved that time too and really enjoyed learning. I got my degree just before I turned 40yrs. Then my husband was diagnosed with a brain tumour and I fell apart. In fact, my life as I knew it, changed forever. He died 9 months after he was diagnosed. I hit the booze big time!!

Anyhow enough for tonight. I've been following you forever. Yes Jude we do have a winter here tho not as extreme cold like you guys do.

Thanks for letting me tell my story. I need the reminder that I was a bit of a go getter once and not just a messy drunk. I'm finding it cathartic.

i would have been right there buying extra boxes of wine too. In fact, I got to the point where I always had a second box at the ready, just in case!

Thank you for being honest. Thank you for your vulnerability. You hated people like me but we are more similar than different. When I run meetings its entirely catharthis; its how I have self control and power (of self). I appreciate you for telling it.

Empyr3al, the flowers are beautiful. Can I ask why you say, "don't hate me". I'm confused why we would? Am I missing something? Peachie called me out but I'm proud they/she told their story. So all good.

You have some good points but I hate the anger and disrespect you show...in that you have to be RIGHT! I love the people on this thread and have been around MWO for many, many years. Not posting much but gaining strength from ordinary decent people who live their lives peacefully, respectfully to others in this community and many other communities. You come here yelling and shouting how much you know better then anyone else. Well, in my world, you don't if you have to shout it from the bloody rooftops. Seriously you have angered me, don't know if you have angered others here but you have angered me big time. I loathe people who speak like you. Take it somewhere else. How dare you come here telling people things they already know.

I assume we are okay now. That was pretty hurtful and I assume you are forgiving. I assume grace in everyone.

Lastnight, I did beef shanks, approx 4kg. Braised them in a pan 2 min per side. They were marinated in galbi sauce for 2 hours prior. I put 1/3 inch size lengths of sliced onions on the bottom. Carrots and potatoes on top. 900ml of beef broth and another 500ml of galbi sauce. Was a hit. The bone marrow was pretty wild.
