Hey cafe! Never thought that I would think that twenty degrees would feel balmy, but I do! We're supposed to get 6 inches of snow tomorrow but the temperature is supposed to go up to 30 degrees. First time in over three weeks. Yay!
Ginger, glad that the sea hawks won the Super Bowl. Mr. G must be so happy!
Cowboy, Mr. J and I don't buy a lot of red meat either because of the price. It was Mr. J's birthday on Saturday and we splurged on a couple of T-bone steaks for dinner. It was a nice change from pork or chicken and it was so yummy!
Has anyone been watching the Olympics? I really enjoy the winter games and have been watching a lot of skiing, figure skating and luge.
Waves to Rava, dill, Mul and Peachie!
24 more please...

Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

Good morning cafe. All this talk of meat makes me want to buy a steak. We don’t eat it often due to price. When we do we split one. Glad the Seahawks won for you Ginger. I don’t follow football. But for those who do I hope it was a good game. The temps got up to 72 and sunny yesterday so we were able to sit poolside but the water was too cold to enjoy. Off to volunteer job where my favorite friend is fighting cancer and he walks around with his oxygen and chemo bag. I feel so bad for him yet he needs to be with everyone. I give him so much credit for pushing thru. Everyone just loves on him and we all try to lift him up. Hope everyone has a good day. 24 more please and thank you.

I've been watching some of the Olympics as well Jude, so many different winter sports that are exciting to watch!
Kudos to your friend Rava for still getting out among people, a good positive attitude can go a long way fighting disease.
Ya, I'll have to get working on renewing my passport dill, only used it once when I did have it so wasn't in a hurry to get it renewed. How is the new computer change over going?
Although I don't watch much football Ginger, I was hoping the Seahawks would win. As you said, that coach should have a very good future ahead of him.
Not to worry Peachie, you watching football would be like me watching cricket lol. I'm guessing you could use a bit of rain from the cyclone, is it pretty dry there?
Not much on my agenda today, should take the truck over to the truck wash and get all the salt and road grime off of it.

Well, Cowboy, I finally feel like I am getting a handle on things here! It just takes time to work through the little changes and understand things. Basically though, I am very happy with the new computer! It's a refurbished Surface Pro 5. I wonder if you noticed as the administrator of wqd, that I had to get a new password to login because it had been so long ago that I started there that I forgot my password. I kept a list of all my passwords on my old computer, but that app glitched a long time ago and all my passwords were lost!
Rava, we usually split our steaks too. Neither one of us can eat as much as we used to it seems! I do hope the beef prices come down, but no sign of it yet.
Peachie, thanks for the good wishes yesterday. Happy to say that my mood has much improved. No disturbing dreams last night!
Are you headed home today, Ginger? Jude, I know what you mean about the temperature! What a relief to get nearer to normal again. It feels like a day at the beach!
I haven't been watching the Olympics. Very happy to let you all enjoy them for me!
Where are Mul and Empy3?
Not today...
Dill
Dont forget, you can: start late, start over, be unsure, try and fail AND STILL SUCCEED!
If it is important to you, you will find a way. If not, you will find an excuse.

Greetings everyone!
Rava, what kind of cancer is your friend fighting? I bet his being there, even if he is sick, is very healing for him. Sending healing thoughts to him.
Peachie, I typically dont watch football and I have to admit, I was doing diamond art during most of it. It's hard for me to watch those young men bashing into each other.
Dill, I hope you and hubby can finish up the computer today and don't have to return it. Although, I sure would, if it's not 100 percent!
All this talk of meat prices makes me glad I don't go near the meat counter. Lol
Hi, ABC, Jude and Mul.
I'll gladly take another day of freedom!
