No signs of spring around my area yet Jude and Mulburry, haven't even seen any geese flying which is strange for this time of year.

Safe travels on your sight-seeing trip home Ginger! Does your younger sister live close to you or do you have to drop her off somewhere along the way?

So glad the tea is working for you Rava, at least you can get out and enjoy a few functions now.

Hopefully the cyclone will stay far away from you Peachie, or at least die down to something that isn't as dangerous.

It's definitely been a crazy winter as far as weather goes dill, but eventually the new doors will get installed.

Headed out to the farm today to check on things and see how the spring melt is coming along out in the country. Not sure if Corey will be asking for help again this spring or not, but I'm thinking I'll give it a go for a couple more years if he needs me.

Hi Cafe. The cyclone is still heading down our coast and causing havoc up north. We are due for some heavy rainfall over the next few days but the cyclone, named Narelle, will downgrade to a Cat 2 before crossing the coast. I hope not too much damage is done. But the winds are fierce.

      Ginger, safe trip to you.

Dill, Vegemite needs to be spread very sparingly on toast. Otherwise it can be overwhelming. I'm not a fan of Tim Tams but millions of Aussies are!

Cowboy I now have a picture of flying geese in my head, hope they appear soon.

Hi to Jude, Rava and Mul. Off to bed I go.

      Night night.

        Morning Cafe friends!
We are visiting Jerome and Sedona, AZ today. Jerome is an old mining town that literally hangs on the side of a mountain. It's very artsie these days. Sedona is named after one of hubby's distant relatives. Sedona's husband T.C. was the postmaster and they needed a name for the settlement. He picked his wife's name. It should be a fun day. Little Sis is riding home with us. She only lives about 10 min from us.

Peachie, I sure hope that cyclone settles down. Are they normal for you guys this time of year?

Dill, that store sounds amazing! I applaud your gdaughter for wanting to try new things!

Rava, great job sticking to your quit!

Jude, you mentioned possibly fostering mama kitty. Does she have a name yet? If you foster, will you be able to let her go? I'm afraid it would be a foster fail for me!

        Hi Mul and ABC.

        I'll take another day!!

Late check in for me. The volunteer day tends to make me late getting here. It's a beautiful day here today so I'm going to cut this short and go enjoy it!

24 for all of us here, please and thank you.
          Dill

Dont forget, you can: start late, start over, be unsure, try and fail AND STILL SUCCEED!

If it is important to you, you will find a way. If not, you will find an excuse.

            Good morning cafe!

Ginger, the mother cats name is Black Eyed Susan. Unfortunately she became sick, probably from all of the stress that she went through. I hope that she recovers, but right now she is pretty ill and is getting treatment at the shelter. She has been through a lot and I just want her to land in a soft spot, (with me) until a permanent home can be found. I know that there's always a risk of being a "foster fail" but what the hell.

Mr. J and I have early doctors appointments this morning, and hopefully afterwards I can talk hubby into taking me to breakfast.

Great job Rava staying sober during your get together with friends. Looks like tea is going to be your new friend! The more confident that you become, the less likely that you will give in to cravings and each social gathering that you get through booze free, the easier it will get.

            Waves to all!

            24 more please...

Good morning Cafe. Jude, I hope Black Eyed Susan gets better and you can foster/keep her. Whichever works best. Hope your doctor appointments go well. Peachie, Hope that cyclone stays at a Cat 2 or lower. They are so scary. A Cat 5 is which made up move north during hurricane season. I still have PTSD from that event! Hope your volunteer day is a good one Dill. Ginger, that is an interesting story about Sedona. Thanks for sharing. Hi to cowboy looking forward to your breakfast Sunday morning! Still loving my tea and actually look forward to. Pm to drink it. So far so good. Fingers crossed that this new habit sticks. Sending a pic of my tea yesterday at 4 pm. Blueberry Wild Child its called. 24 more please and thank you!!

That tea looks quite tasty Rava, I'll bet the aroma is quite good as well.

Fingers crossed that Black Eyed Susan pulls through Jude! Hope the appointments went well and you got to go out for breakfast.

Sounds like you guys are having quite an adventure on your trip home Ginger, how long will it take you to get back home with all the stops you are making?

                  Waves to dill and Peachie!

Still quite a bit of snow out in the fields so I don't think it'll be an early seeding season this year, but at least we'll have a good moisture base to gets the crops started.

Evening Cafe. Gorgeous name for Mumma pussy cat Jude. Fingers and toes crossed she gets better.

Well it's been full on up north here today with the cyclone. It got up to a Cat 4 Rava and did quite a bit of damage to a town called Exmouth. Lovely tourist town. Roofs blown off, huge trees uprooted and loss of power. Poor things. Wind gust of up to 250klms. Very frightening for the town folks. As it moved further south it's been downgraded to Cat 2. We have had a lovely drenching here in Perth.. My cats just sat staring out the window in disbelief! Some cool weather at last..Sorry you had a bad experience Rava with a hurricane. So scary.
Ginger it was very unusual at this time of the year.

Going to settle in to some TV watching now then an early night with a blanket on my bed First time in a long time. Been sleeping under just a sheet for sooo long.

                    Have a great day everyone.

I bet you are getting impatient for Spring, Cowboy! We have had some beautiful Spring weather, but it is mixed in with some cold days. Typical changing season.

That tea looks delicious. The cup is perfect to make the drink very enticing! Glad that tea time is working so well for you. The more you talk about it the more I start to want to try it myself.

Jude, I sure hope Black-eyed Susan makes a strong comeback. We're all pulling for her!

I've always wanted to visit Sedona, Ginger. It's a fascinating place. That's really special that it's named after an ancestor of Mr. G!

Hi ya, Peachie. Granddaughter did not like Vegemite, but she decided to try it again later. It's just so different she decided it had to be tried a few times before she decides.

Good to see you Mul! I was wondering where you got off to!

Not much going on here today. I will likely make a run to the grocery store, but that's about it!

                      Not today...

Dill, I just read up on vegemite. I think I'll pass.

Jude, I'll be sending prayers for Black Eyed Susan. Poor girl has been through way too much. She needs a safe place to land and you're just the one to provide it.

Rava, your cup of tea is beautiful. I'm happy it's working so well for you.

Peachie, I'm glad that it's cooled off for you. Thinking of all the folks affected by that cyclone.

ABC, I hope you get to plant with Cory this spring when things dry out. It seems like it's something you enjoy.

Continuing our trek toward home. Today's stop, South Rim of the Grand Canyon. I'll take another day!
