Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

Waves to the whole gang!
My truck goes in for an oil change this morning and then I might run out to the farm to see if enough snow has melted for me to check out how the inside of the camper faired over the winter.

Good morning Cafe. Hope everyone had a good Sunday. Ginger, I started learning on You Tube, Southern Sparrow Mahj 101 series. She breaks it down to a level that helps you understand. It’s not easy but definitely a brain workout. Mr. R is starting to play with me and it makes for a nice hour or two that we can enjoy together other than scrolling on our phones. Great weather day ahead here in Florida. Our days are winding down. Less than a month to go. Working on eating food from pantry and freezer. Going to lunch today with 2 non drinking friends. All is good here for now. Wishing everyone a wonderful start to the week. 24 more for us all!!!

Rava, I never puree the split pea soup. The idea never even occurred to me! LOL. I don't know how far I'll get with the Mahjong. I will finish the videos you told me about (Mahj 101 on Youtube) Then I'm thinking I'll watch it again but maybe will have to get myself one of those NMJL cards so I can follow along better. Did you buy one of those?
Ginger, good for you getting your hobby room in order. It's so great that you can do things like that again!
Cowboy, thanks for the fantastic breakfast yesterday! I'm looking forward to hearing whether or not you can get in the camper yet. It's so warm and pleasant here I can't imagine that much snow!
Hi Jude and Peachie. What's up Mul?
Haven't seen the coyote in 2 days so fingers-crossed we won't have to take action. No, we do not know if it is male or female, but judging by the aggressiveness of the interaction, I'm thinking female. I'm going to see what I can learn today about legally acceptable actions, but I'm hoping we don't have to take any action.
Not today.
Dill

Evening Cafe.Em has talked me into going down to Busselton for a few days and then she will come up to Perth for a few days too. My coach is booked for Thursday morning. Yay. An adventure. Cat sitter organized and cobwebs brushed off my suitcase. I am so lucky to have her. She and Ben did a skydive together years ago. She is trying to get the video of it found and contacted the Company today to see if they have it on their hardrive. Fingers crossed.
Made a devilled sausage meal today. Not sure if I like it yet. Lol.
Hope your campervan withstood your winter weather Cowboy. I sure miss my little campervan. It got left on a tropical island somewhere in Queensland. Long story.
Waves to everyone.

Peachie, an adventure! Yay is right. Enjoy your time away.
Dill, fingers crossed here, as well, that the coyote has moved on.
ABC, good luck at the farm if you get out that way.
Jude, any chance there's a pic of Al on your FB page?
Rava, it's nice to enjoy some time like that with hubby. Did he catch on quick?
Lets all have a great, easy day!

Good morning cafe!
Peachie, glad to see that you'll soon be taking a road trip. It's always good to get away and do something different for a few days. Would love to hear how your camper ended up on a tropical island.
Ginger, no I don't think that I have any pics of fat Albert on Facebook but I can check.
Rava, are you getting excited about heading up North soon?
Dill, fingers crossed that the coyote continues to stay away.
Waves to Cowboy and Mul!
24 more please...

I got a chuckle out of fat Albert's name Jude, seems fitting for a 30lb. cat lol. I think I remember a cartoon or tv show with a fat Albert in it.
Good to hear that you're going to be doing a bit of traveling and visiting Peachie, it's always nice to get away even if it's only for a few days.
Sounds like you and Mr R have found something to help spend some time together Rava. You'll have to make sure you let him win from time to time so he doesn't quit playing lol.
Sounds like we have a few more days of this colder weather dill then the warming trend is upon us. There's lots of geese back now and I saw my first robin's yesterday in the backyard.
I did get out to the farm yesterday Ginger and was able to get into the camper but have to still wait a few days before I can run the slide out. Looks like it wintered well and the mice didn't leave a mess to clean up lol.
The snow is melting away fairly quickly now, we've got a few days ahead of us with snow/rain in the forecast then warming up to more seasonal temps. Looks like I'll be able to get the garage doors changed next week!Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. Good morning Cafe. Cowboy, i bet you are ready to get back to the camper. And Bubba will be happy about that garage door being replaced. Dill, so glad that coyote has moved on! Fingers crossed she/he doesn't come back! Yes i bought the card and some tiles. I leave them up on my table all the time which makes it easy to practice hands and have Mr R join me. He is learning on the childrens card and has caught on quickly. I want to keep it easy for him so he doesn't quit on me. LOL. And yes he wins sometimes too. Peachie, I am excited that you are taking a road trip! Thats wonderful. I am sure you and Em will have a great time together. Jude, I like the name fat Albert. I remember that cartoon will Bill Cosby's voice. My kids used to watch it. Well I hope everyone has a great Tuesday. I am going fishing and crabbing today with neighbors leaving in about an hour. I will let you all know tomorrow if my little trip to the river was successful or not. 24 more please and thank you!

Hiya Cafe. I woke up at 4.30am this morning. The only thing I can remember is my kitties walking over me in bed! Coming for a smooch and cuddle and purr. Then they went back to sleep and I was wide awake. Not impressed. I am so not a morning person.
Jude, my campervan got left on Magnetic Island in Queensland. I was offered a property to rent there for 3 months by a friend of my son. It also came with a Peacock! Absolutely beautiful place. My ex partner was with me and I was in therapy at the time. Our neighbour came over one night after one of our many fights and told my partner there was something really wrong with him and I should leave. So I did. Got a flight back to Perth the next day. leaving my 4 wheel drive Pajero and my campervan on the island.
I so enjoyed living on the island. So many beautiful beaches.
There you go.

Jude, I looked at all your kitty pics on FB and really enjoyed all their antics! Cats are so cool. What does Big Al look like? Is he a tabby?
Rava, good luck today! Sounds like a fun way to while away the day!
Peachie, I'm sorry that happened with your camper van. Was that the end of the relationship?
ABC, it won't be long now! Sounds like spring is right around the corner. I know you'll be glad to get those doors hung!
Hi ya, Dill. Hoping their has been no more coyote sightings!
Not much going on around here. I could use a "down time" day! I'll take another day of freedom

Peachie, that sounds like a turning point in your life. So glad you made the escape, but sorry you lost that camper van in the bargain!
Cowboy! Now you have to try to get the doors up before planting season begins! Who knew!
Enjoy your fishing fun, Rava!
Jude, lifting Albert is no small thing!
. Is he a lap cat?
Ginger, a nice quiet day is a good thing from time to time. I'm having one today, too.
No sign of the coyote for the last 4 days. I did call and talk with someone at the Division of Wildlife as to what we might do. She gave me the name and number of our local Wildlife Officer in case we had any further issues.
Not today.
