Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

Good morning Cafe. Jude, I am sorry about the pain but hopefully this surgery worked to get rid of the tissue around the bone. We are all hoping this does the trick for you! Ginger, no more projects. We are pretty much finished with all the major projects. A little tiny home became available two streets over with a beautiful water view but it needs so much work. I think we will just stay in our little place with no view that is finished to our liking. We are close to the pool here with great neighbors all around. Peachie, sorry about Zorro fighting with your cat. You are so kind to even let him in. I hope everyone has a wonderful day. 24 more please and thank you.

I'm thinking you might have to have a chat with Zorro's owners Peachie, no need for any cats to get hurt because he wanders the neighborhood.
Sorry to hear you're in pain Jude, were they able to give you good news after the surgery?
At least you're able to get out and about now Ginger but it's little consolation if you still have that cough. Referrals take forever up here as well, not enough specialists for all the patients. Us baby boomers are putting a strain on a lot of services.
It's great that your granddaughter is taking up a team sport dill, I think it's a valuable experience for kids growing up.
Waves to Rava and Mulburry...
Seeding didn't last long, got one day in and woke up to rain yesterday morning, so I ended up coming back to Vegreville and I see everything is wet out here this morning as well. More rain in the forecast for today and tonight as well. I don't ever remember a spring this wet or as much water in the fields as there is. Some of the area farmers have decided to put their seeding equipment away and file for crop insurance. We only have 2 good days of seeding left if we can ever get them in.Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. ABC, wow! Crazy weather for sure. How long will Cory wait before he does the same?
Jude, I'm glad that surgery is behind you. Hoping this one does the trick!
Rava, the water view would be nice but the work? Not so much! I still want to sell our AZ place but the thought of packing overwhelms me.
Peachie, dang! I was getting ready for a rant!
Dill, I checked my insurance and it does not require a referral so I called a specialist 2 hrs away (closet one) that specializes in cpap and asthma. She also is a surgeon. If there's a surgical option to get off the cpap, I'll consider it! The appointment is scheduled for July 21. It pays to check my policy!
I hope we all have an easy day! I'll take another.

Ginger, that's great news! I'm so glad you checked your policy. Sometimes you just have to advocate for yourself. I'm glad you stepped it up a notch.
Jude, I'm glad to hear the surgery went well. Now I suppose we have to watch and see what happens. Hoping for the best and that you'll be feeling better tomorrow.
Cowboy, it has been the weirdest Spring ever! I hope you can get a couple of good seeding weather days and get this phase behind you.
Rava, I think you are wise to stay put, even though there is a place that has a nicer view.
Peachie, that cat fight must've been very upsetting for you and your girls!
Muggy here today again but we are promised some cooler temps for the next few days, with lower humidity. I say a resounding "YES!" to that forecast!
24 more, please and thank you.
Dill

Good morning cafe!
My finger doesn't feel too bad today and I have to go see the surgeon this morning. Hopefully the biopsy and cultures are back so that he can let me know what the next step is. Praying for good news.
Peachie, I agree with Cowboy about having a chat with Zorro's owner and see if anything can be done to keep him from harassing your girls. Go ahead and rant all that you want, we are all good listeners.
Cowboy, that's too bad about all that rain putting a damper on the seeding, but hopefully you'll get enough dry time in to finish the rest of the fields.
Ginger, hopefully the new doctor can help you with the asthma and coughing. It's too bad that she's so far away but if she can help you it will be worth the drive.
Dill, it has been hot and muggy here over the last couple of days as well. Yesterday we had some crazy T-storms and we got over an inch of rain within an hours time. Crazy!
Rava, I think that you are wise to stay in your tiny home as it sounds like you are close to everything that you need. Sometimes having a water view isn't worth the amount of work involved in fixing it up.
Hey Mul!
Not today...

Good morning Cafe. Jude, I am keeping my fingers crossed for a good report this morning. Ginger so smart of you to seek another doctors appt and glad you dont need a referral. 2 hours is about a normal trip for us to seek a specialist. Like Cowboy says, us baby boomers are flooding the system. You can’t get seen for anything in Florida due to all the oldsters. Today we are spending it with 3 grandsons. Should be a very busy but fun day. Hi to everyone and hope you stay cool and sober. 24 more please and thank you!

Have fun with the grandsons today Rava, I'm sure they are going to enjoy the day with you.
Hopefully the surgeon will have good news today Jude, I'm sure you'll be glad to put all this behind you.
A 2 hour drive is worth it Ginger if it means getting in quickly and getting something done. Hopefully this new Dr will have some answers or at least options for you. I'm not sure how long Corey will wait till he decides we're finished with seeding. It's getting very late now to be seeding canola.
We have a couple of days of nice weather coming up dill, but then it's back to cloudy, cool, and rain. Some crazy weather for us.
Yes, rant away Peachie, I do it all the time over the weather lol.
I did manage to get the grass cut yesterday here in Veg and just in time as we had a bit more rain overnight. Don't know if they got any out at the farm or if things dried up any out there.

Good morning all. I'm very worried about Lily. She hasn't been able to keep anything down for 3 days now. I'm hoping to get her in to the vet this morning as soon as they open. I'll let you know how it goes. I always complain about her being such a high energy pest! But now I'd give anything to see her come running with the ball in her mouth and ready to play...
Jude, glad you're feeling better today. Prayers for a good report from the doc.
Waves to everyone.

Evening Cafe. Hope you get some good news today Jude. How's little Boo going?
Feeling better tonight. No sighting of Zorro all day!! Mind you it's been cold and wet but I'll take small blessings! I agree it's time to speak to his owner about his naughty behaviour. My girls have stayed in all day near the fire so been a very stress free day.
Enjoy your your grandkids Rava!
Had a nice chat with Emma last night. Saved my rant! Lol.
Dill, so sorry to hear about Lily. Goodness our pets mean the world to us don't they. Hope you can get her into see the vet.
Good luck with your seeding AB. What a season it's been for you!
Having an early night tonight. My hot water bottle already in my bed.
Hiya Ginger, so glad you've got a specialist appt. How's Cyrus?
Love to all our dear fur balls.
Night night everyone

Dill, I'm sending nothing but good thoughts to Lily. I hope you can get her in quick this morning.
Jude, I'm hoping for a good report for you. This has been a long one for you!
Peachie, Zorro probably stays in by the fire at his house (I hope) this time of year. Maybe by the time winter is over he'll have forgotten where the girls live. Fingers crossed! Cyrus is great. Thanks gor asking!
ABC, I hope you can get done soon!
Rava, have fun with those grands today! Can't wait to hear what you get up to with them.
I don't mind the drive to the specialist. It's over Snoqualmie Pass and it's a gorgeous mountainous area. I used to drive it once a month when I still worked. I loved the drive over the pass but I sure hated the traffic once I got to Seattle. We don't have that in central Washington, thank goodness!
I'll join you all for another day!
