Greetings everyone! We still have sun but rain to arrive this evening. We really need it so I don’t mind. Supposed to go back to hot & humid days for the weekend, oh well.

Mick, I’m happy to take some of that rain off your hands. The leaves are drying up & falling early due to such a dry end of summer. The driveway guy finished up in near dark last night but the job is done, looks good. When are you leaving for your trip? My short term memory stinks these days.

Mae all how are we doing?hope all is good. Was going to go today but cancelled..storm warning today as well so looks like I'll be going after we have been away in the van. We had a massive storm yesterday thunder and lightning the whole gang were there. Supposed to be a repeat today as well.Im going to see if I can get down to Blacktoft sands today for a wee while.
hiya ppqp how are you doing today then?pity about the smoke. Sooner it pushes through the better. Sounds like work was a drama free day for you.

Had a busy but good day! I graduated from PT today, feeling so much better. Had a nice lunch visit with only one other, everyone else was busy or sick. The guy we hired to seal coat the driveway showed up 30 minutes ago. He’d better hurry or he’ll be working in the dark Lol

I hope everyone has a good night & thanks for keeping the smoky air for a while longer PQ.

Just popping on while I eat my lunch. It was supposed to be 30C today but because of all the smoke still here it's revised to 21. The smoke is coming from the North West Territories, they've got a front coming down from the arctic so it's pushing everything south. Sorry you had to postpone your trip Mick, but aren't you lucky you can change your plans on a dime. Hey Lav...I'm sure Sam will jump on sooner or later. I read his last post on the thread just below this one. Air is still not clean, just hope I don't send it down to you. LOL Lunch over must get back to it. Have a good day all....PQ

Good Wednesday morning all! Sunny & 62 degrees so far, hoping to get some of Mick’s rain tomorrow. One of our lunch group texted me, said she’s not feeling well so staying home today. Hate missing an opportunity to see my old work friends. Feeling pretty good myself, grateful for that.

PQ, I messaged Sam too so maybe he’ll jump back in. Hope your air is clearer & yo have a good day.

Mick, sorry the rain made yo change your plans. It’s feast or famine, right? I did get the flu shot in early August since they had it available. Be sure to get yours too.
i am going to speak to the PT today hoping to get clues on how to survive the 6 hr flight next month without stiffening up into the Tin man, Lol I always feel better when I am moving!!

mornin all...just like olden times...how are we doing? I actually prefer it here, if the photo downloading and missing message stuff was sussed .chucking it down with rain here ...was going to Oldham this morning but sacked it ...going tomorrow instead when the weather is better .

PQ, i didm’t think I was going to be able to get the Covid vax but the pharmacy actually called me today so I figured why not?? I’ll feel better traveling with as many vaccines on board as possible haha! I hope you can get yours too. Please don’t send that smoky air down here, we had enough over the `summer. Doesn’t do much for my dry eye situation, yuck. I think I can walk behind the garage & get to the chicken house without stepping on the driveway, we’ll see. They have food & water for a few days if not. Hi Pie, thanks for stopping by too! I hope we can get ahold of Sam, I’ll try to send him a message. Have a nice night everyone.

Howdy, howdy....this works for me, it'll give Pie a break. It's a little strange posting back on here, will have to pm Samstone and let him know we're back. LOL Woke up to a blanket of smoke over the city, it's supposed to last until Thursday, sure didn't miss all that smoke over the summer.
Mick...yup the day off yesterday and the start of school today, back to routine. Not sure how long the teachers will be working, if they're going to strike they have to call it before Oct 7th. Enjoy your trip tomorrow. Kathy...our provincial government (boss's sister) has decided to charge for the covid shot now. $100. There are some exceptions, I'm one of them, but they won't let the pharmacies dispense it. You have to order (and pay) ahead of time and then appointment bookings will open in October. Geeze. Sounds like you have a busy week ahead of you. Good luck with dealing with the Stellas while you're banded from the driveway.
