Hello all! We just made a trip to Lancaster County to visit some of our favorite unusual stores. One of them was basically an enclosed orchard stand & came home with baskets of apples & peaches & lima beans for canning. So exciting haha. Nice day here sunny & 80 degrees.

MAE ALL...YAY It's the WEEKEND YAY

Just the right amount of work to finish off the week. CC Director is trying to hire an Assistant Director, it'll be interesting to see who she ends up with. Her and the boss are doing the interviews together, thankfully. Staff continue to quit on her, even after just being hired. LOL At least it's kept her busy and out of my hair. Boss has presented me with another forensic audit mystery on an account, love it. Wedding in the hall tomorrow, the grooms brought in the drinks today, they are a cute couple. Birthday party is smaller hall but there is staff onsite. Still turning my phone off. LOL

Mick...great pictures. Any royals at Sandringham? I'll check out the game fair next. Saw the video of Bonnie on messenger, she's looking good, must be the babysitter. Haha

Lav...sounds like we have the same weekend plans. LOL I hear you about the new FB, maybe it's time to just give it a rest.

Morning all..how are we doing today then?poets day today...after a night of rainy is sunny here Sandringham is Sunderland 2 hours driving from here, you can't get on site before 1 so we will go fill up and take a bimble down. The plan is go to the game fair on Saturday..if you are interested type in Sandringham game fair to dr Google units all there. Then Sunday we will go into King's Lynn..just for a look around. I brought my big camera with me so hopefully get some nice shots.

i copied the owls from Micks messenger post.
I think the new FB page might be interesting, even if you create a gmail email.
I often get friend requests from people I'm already friends with and assume this is a spoofing try.
Give it some thought, at least you'd be able to see us all again, we'll send you a friend request if you set it up.

Nice owls PQ, I wouldn’t mind having them on my driveway, for sure.
You really deserve some $$ for reading the boss’s mind the way you do, LOL. Hope the BBQ is fun. Fall is flirting with us but at least we’re having cooler nights. I can’t open the windows due to allergies but I am sleeping better. The summer heat just kills me even with the AC on. My husband is pestering me to make a new FB page using a different form of my name & different email address. I may do it just so I can get Messenger back, don’t know, I’ll see.

MAE ALL...nice quiet day and a hot one to boot. Booked some time off, had to use up some Time In Lieu. Asked the boss if the board meeting (7am) was on the 17th (because he leaves early those days) and he said, it's also my birthday so I'm out of here after the meeting. Glad I checked before continuing to book time off.

Mick...the first thing that went through my mind when I read your post was, do you need a development permit for that? The city has been going crazy with a blanket rezoning and now people can build whatever they want, 8 unit building beside 2 residential houses. There's going to be a war break out. I love the pic of the owls for the pillars...let's see if I can put it up here...

Lav...we almost hit 86F today! You can feel the crisp fall air in the morning and then wham. Glad common sense took over and you didn't try pulling any weeds. I had a good day today. We are having our Member Appreciation BBQ next Saturday and last year after the event started the boss said "can you quickly make a couple of signs saying "Pathway Closed for community event?" I thought of that last night so this morning I made the signs and they were sitting on desk. Boss came in and said, Oh, can you....then he saw the signs and said thanks. I said is that what you wanted to ask me and he said yup, that woke me up last night. LOL Budget gets approved on the 17, just more fuel for the raise consideration.

That's all my news. I keep checking messenger (that's where I got the owls from) but no posts from Pie or TG. Hoping all is well with them.

Partly cloudy, getting a touch warmer too, heading up to 80 ish today. Considered pulling a few weeds this morning but the ground is dry & hard & I am NOT going to pull anymore muscles anytime soon, haha!

Mick, sorry the rain is changing your plans but there’s always something else to do, right? Your pic looks good, not sure if it’s castle or church, looks like a bit of both to me.
Ihope the rest of your trip is relatively dry. I don’t see any rain on our extended forecast until next Wednesday, geez.

Mae all .how are we doing?hope all is well. It hammered down with rain last night..some vans are parked on grass so that should be interesting...we were supposed to go to the seal and wildlife centre today, but both have decided not to bother. Nothing to do with money etc,but looking at trip Advisor the last reviews say it's uncared for and run down .the highlights being the gift shop and cafe.the last thing I want to see is firstly a zoo and secondly a load of animals in uncared for surroundings.

Hiya ppqp firsty well done you and thank for your help .how are you doing today?hope all is good. Yes I think the owls will look good. The bricks that come out of that wall will not only build the pillars but also in the back right hand corner of the garden I'm building a little wild life garden and will need about 100 bricks for that ..hopefully to encourage wildlife and birds in .hope you have a good but uneventful day
