I went to the Four Stages of Meditatation when he was out here about 3 years ago. He had his translator do amost all the talking and it was a huge effort for me to stay focused. It went on for 3 days from 9:00 till 4:30. He is a very funny man though.... great sense of humour.

Err, I must point out that not ALL drummers are prone to cold sores. Bird being the obvious exception. (hope that gets me orf the hook!)

Had a beaut lunch and catch up with a drummer mate today. He wasn't sporting any cold sores, as the topic was fresh on me mind so I did scrutinize his face without fear or favour. Sadly, there were none. Though I note the weekend is upon us, so early days yet.

Positive human interaction. Regular. So important I reckon, particularly in 'recovery' i.e. newly orf the sauce. We can just disappear into our own myth if we're not careful, at least I can.

Raining here. Have a great evening everyone. Especially you there my friends, in my fave place of all.....the cheap seats.

Sounds like you had a good day Mr G. I've got to agree on the getting out and seeing others, its nice to see how we fit into things "outside".

Sports off tomorrow coz of the rain. So I'm thinking a sleep in 'til 7 or so and then a pottery weekend. Seeing an iridologist tomorrow...always wanted to but was a bit scared of what they'd say...now I really don't care, I'm just interested...

Off to bed, worked on assignment tonight so I'm stuffed...nighters all...
