Good morning cafe! I'm so glad that the election will be over soon. So much tension in this country right now, but hopefully when the voting is done things will calm down. Outside of that, I will be so glad when the political ads become a thing of the past, so sick of them.

Ginger, glad that you made it to your destination unscathed. It sounds like you will need a few days to decompress.

Good morning Cafe. Ginger, so glad you are home safely. I am only one trip ahead of you switching to flying. Driving is awful. I get it. Hoping today becomes better for those that are upset with the new president. This will be an interesting day for sure. Probably one that I will stay away from social media. I have never in my life seen such hatred. Hope everyone has a great and sober day! Not drinking over any of this.

Glad you made it safe and sound Ginger, just to get settled in now.

I guess the election wasn't as close as they thought it would be, although the final tally isn't in yet but it's looking like a new/old president will be back in the Whitehouse. That's the end of my discussion on it lol.

Yes, things didn't go as expected, according to the news. But it's been a long time since I have trusted anything I have seen on the news as relates to politics, so I wasn't particularly surprised by last night's results. I continue to hope for cooler heads and peaceful hearts. I'm hoping we can turn the page and move forward.

I'm spending the day with a friend who is a polar opposite to me politically. We will be fine and have a good time as we share more in common than one would think. It's a matter of choosing to find common ground where we can and agreeing to disagree on others.

My truck goes in for an oil change and tire rotation this morning then I'll get out my hunting stuff and get it ready for our first day of hunting on Saturday. Looking forward to some outdoor father/son time with Adam.

It's chilly this morning with a bit of rain, but I can't complain as its been a fantastic Fall with lots of sun and warm temps. I have to bring 2 of my cats to the vets this morning for their annual vaccines. Can't wait to see that bill! Busy day ahead so there will be no time for alcohol.
