Thanks Jude, I'll check out the show probably on the Roku Channel. Sometimes mindless TV is just what I need. I'm fascinated with Australia, so maybe that's the one for me. Your Easter meal sounds perfect. I am going to keep it simple, too. I have a frozen turkey breast I bought at Christmas but never used. So that's our main course. I"ll have potatoes and gravy and a veggie. Probably asparagus.

Cowboy, I just this morning saw and advertisement for the Farmer program on Fox. So that's another option. Thanks.

Ginger, sorry your knee is still painful and that you have to figure a way to manage it. Are you still able to get out and hike if you don't overdo it? I hope so.

Waves to Rava, Slo and Mul.

24 more please and thank you.

Rava, cross-post. We must've pressed that "post reply" button at the exact same time! LOL No, I don't have a tik tok account. I'm not going to take on another app, so I guess I'll have to just pay a little more. That's what I get for being stubborn!

Sounds like good meals for Easter that you have planned. I will probably go out for an Easter dinner with my twin sister.

D2 invited me over to hang out with her & 2 y/o Huxley for a few hours yesterday late afternoon / early evening. That was a nice little time!
Then he wanted to call me later to report on some potty training success!
D2 is knee-deep in paperwork & planning for a surrogacy pregnancy. Embryo transfer is scheduled for 5/13!

I can check that show out on Roku then too. Good to know.

I need to find the energy now to pack up and travel to D1’s house for the day.

Wishing all a good AF day!

Slo, it's nice you spend so much time with your daughters. Enjoy

Dill, no real hiking since the injury. I don't trust it not to fail on me miles away from the trailhead. When I go back to AZ this winter, I will see that doc again and ask for a replacement. Maybe enough time will have passed by then to get it.

Gdaughter asked me to come and plant flowers with her and the littles so that's my agenda today. The greats are 3yo and 20 months. This should be great fun.

Waves to all! I'll take another day of freedom.

Ginger, it sounds like a knee replacement may be your only option if you want to be pain free. My sister had both knees done and she has never looked back. Hope that you had fun planting flowers yesterday with your granddaughter. The ground here is covered with snow so I won't be planting anything for awhile.

24 more for all of us please...

Good morning Cafe. Ginger, I hope you had fun planting those flowers with your greats. I also hope your knee is cooperating with you for now. Slo, I hope your daughter has a successful surrogate implantation on the 13th. Is she carrying for someone else or is someone else carrying for her. Sounds exciting either way. Dill, I hope you find the camera. Wishing everyone a great and sober day. Hi to Mul, Jude,, Cowboy 24 more please and thank you.

Hope you had a good time with the family Slo, and I'd also be interested in hearing more about the surrogacy.

How did the flower planting go Ginger, hope your knee held up okay. I'm thinking you'll probably be fine with the replacement and wish you'd done it a lot sooner.

We are also having ham and the rest of the trimmings for Easter Jude. We usually get a smoked ham and then heat it up on the smoker for extra flavor. I really like the left over double smoked ham for sandwiches.

Waves to the rest of the gang!

I'm ready for a knee when they'll do it! We had a great day buying and planting flowers. Gdaughter is due any day now and I think she was hoping the extra activity would encourage baby to come but.... she's still prego as of this morning. Maybe today!

Helping little sis with a project today then showing our 5th wheel at 2p. Fingers crossed it sales.

Hello, everyone! I stayed overnight at D1’s and drove home this morning. It was a beautiful day out yesterday, so spent the day outdoors while the kids played on the driveway. Got to read bedtime stories to Mabel at night, and help Cooper blow bubbles.

D2 is having someone else be a surrogate for her. They were able to have Huxley with fertility treatments, but have been unsuccessful since then.

Sorry you need a knee replacement, Ginger. I hate mine. Actually, the original was good; but I dislike the revision, and also the nerve damage around it.
Did you enjoy your time planting flowers with g-daughter and the littles?

Today is my volunteer day so as usual, I'm checking in late. I just can't seem to squeeze in computer time in the early morning before I have to leave for the hospital. I noticed a big difference in the level of daylight this morning. Last week it was still quite dark and brights were needed to watch for deer and other wildlife. But this morning it was light enough to see without the brights. We are definitely moving toward Summer!

24 more for all of us here, please and thank you.

Dill, I've also noticed the increased daylight lately which is a great mood booster! I also love hearing the variety of birds in the morning; it's a great way to start the day.

Looking forward to another 24 hours of serenity...

Yes, Jude, the bird song is lovely! Yesterday Mr. D and I went back in our woods and sat by a creek. I sat there and closed my eyes and just listened to the sound of the water. So peaceful.

Let's all have another day of freedom and calm.

Keep us informed about the new baby please Ginger. Did the 5th. wheel sell? Your little sister must live close to you I presume?

I imagine it's an exciting time for your daughter Slo, will she be spending much time with the surrogate mom?

I too enjoy the longer days Jude and dill. Love watching the flocks of geese fly over and I see the doves are back, still waiting for the robins though.

Hope things are well with you Rava.
