Today is our craft sale. I have a few things to add to my neighbor's table, mostly to help her fill up her table. Whatever I make will go to the rescue where we got Cyrus. Win/win

ABC, that sounds like an interesting apparatus. I'm going to look at one just to see what they are all about.

Waves all! I'm in for another day too

Good morning Cafe and it sounds like it’s Amazon for the win. I already ordered a few things this morning from Amazon. Having them shipped to my daughter’s house up north so we will have them for Christmas presents. I get no rush shipping to earn digital credits so my books are cheaper that way. I have thought to sign up for Kindle unlimited but I would rather use Libby which is free. Cowboy that electric shovel sounds interesting and will probably save your back from aching! I hope everyone has a great Friday. Hi to everyone! 24 more please and thank you.

You're a bit colder than us Jude, it's -13C (8F) here. But I'll be going out to shovel snow after breakfast so that will keep me warm lol. We do a lot of our shopping off Amazon as well, it's just so convenient.

When I was out shoveling yesterday our next-door neighbor was out doing his sidewalks as well, but he was using one of those cordless electric snow shovels. I never had much faith in them, but it looked like it was doing a pretty good job. When we were done, I went over to have a closer look at it and chatted with him about it. When I got back inside it was on to Amazon and ordered one for us. It won't be here till the beginning of next week so I guess it'll be the hand shoveling for me today and tomorrow lol.

Waves to the rest of the gang!

Good morning all! I just finished Christmas shopping for Mr. J and I didn't even need to leave the house. Thank you Amazon!

It's wicked cold out at 5 degrees so it's safe to say that I won't be going outside anytime soon. Looks like a good knitting day. Brrr...

    Waves to all!

Boy, it's been awhile since we've had to deal with snow. Can't say I miss the work or the messy melt after but I can say, I miss that quiet, beauty after a snow. So peaceful.

I'm glad you're all here. I'll take another day of freedom!

I'll bet your soup was delicious Rava, I'm a big sausage fan, especially the mild Italian.

Turkey stew sounds just as good dill, and the mix of everything you put in would be great. Yes, Mother Nature isn't being very nice to us so far this winter, we've got more snow and colder temps than the same time as last winter.

We do have a snowblower Jude and I end up using it a few times a year. I don't mind shoveling up to about 4" of snow for the exercise, but if the snow gets wet and heavy or more than 4", the snowblower comes out.

    Waves to Ginger and Mulburry...

Good morning Cafe. Jude, good luck with your new puzzle caddy! Sounds interesting. Dill, the turkey soup sounds good. My tortellini was good too. Ginger, just remember we will all be waiting and rooting for you here in your internet support group. Hope everyone has a great and sober day. Hi to Cowboy and Mul too! Hey has anyone heard from Techie?

Good morning, All! Jude, I never thought about how a cat could wreak havoc on a jigsaw puzzle. I love doing puzzles too but have the luxury of being able to leave them out on a worksurface as we have no pets in the house. I'm sure you will enjoy your new "toy".

Rava, that sausage tortellini soup sounds yummy! I finished up our Thanksgiving Turkey by making a Turkey Stew with the left over meat. It had cabbage, carrots, onions potatoes and peas in it and it was delicious!

Ginger, keep taking deep breaths. You're going to be fine!

Cowboy, it feels like it is going to be a loooong winter if Mother Nature doesn't let up. We are 10 degrees below our average high for this time of season and it makes a huge difference to these old bones!

24 more for all of us here, please and thank you.

    Good morning all!

Yesterday I ordered a puzzle caddy from Amazon. I love doing puzzles but it's impossible to do with all of the cats. The caddy is portable with a top that folds down which keeps it safe from feline puzzle piece hunters. Anyway, I can't wait to check it out.

More snow, cold and wind on tap for today. I have an appointment at noon so fingers crossed that the roads aren't too bad.

Rava, sausage tortellini soup sounds delicious! Yum yum!

Cowboy, have you ever thought about getting a snowblower? Sounds like you get enough snow to justify getting one, but maybe you enjoy shoveling for the exercise?

Waves to Mul, Ginger and dill!

    24 more please...

Good morning Cafe. Ginger, 1 week countdown begins. Just think of how much better things will be once you are done and healed. Until then, I hope you can stay busy doing other stuff. Today I am going to make sausage tortellini soup. It has been in the 80s this week which is not quite soup weather but I am preparing for being cold in 2 weeks when we head north. Hope everyone stays warm and has a wonderful and sober day. 24 more please and thanks.

Not to worry Ginger, you'll be back to doing your hiking before you know it!

The Almanac has the same forecast for us as well Jude. I don't mind the snow, it's the cold and wind that I don't like.

The snow does make for some beautiful winter scenes dill, at least that's one positive spin on winter weather lol.

We had about 3" of snow yesterday morning to shovel and then I went out again mid-afternoon and shoveled another 2". Doesn't look like it snowed overnight but more snow in the forecast for today, tomorrow, and Friday.
