    Thanks for breakfast, ABC!

Dill, thank you for sharing the poem. What a great reminder of what is truly important!

Rava, I hope you guys stay well! We may encounter bad weather on our migration south. Sure glad we aren't towing!

    Hi Jude. Hi Mul

I'll take another day of freedom!

Today is going to be a darn good day not to drink!

Cowboy, thank you for that great breakfast and also for sharing your comments about Cowboy poetry. I must admit I didn't ever know there was such a genre, but I looked up Baxter Black (may he RIP) and read a bit about him and also watched a clip of him on the Johnny Carson Show, 1987. What a hoot! I can see why he appeals to you. I wonder if my brother-in-law knows of him. I think he'd really like Baxter Black, too.

24 more for all of us here, please and thank you.

Good morning Cafe. Hope everyone had a good weekend. We are heading back to the tiny house this morning and then off to an elementary school program. I went to a business dinner last night and had 2 glasses of wine. I am not here to feel all ashamed and terrible about myself. I do know that I am still not buying and alcohol or bringing it into my home. I do NOT want to start that mess over but wanted to come clean with my buddies here. I do not plan on letting this slip take me down. Hope everyone has a great Monday. It’s so cold that Florida is sounding better and better! 24 hours of freedom please and thank you.

I think I waited too long to take pics because most of the colors are past their prime now. But hopefully you enjoy these images from my world.

Rava, you are doing great and are on the right path. Just keep moving forward.

Rava, put your slip behind you and keep moving. I know that I would have gone out and grabbed a bottle of wine afterwards, but you didn't. Good job nipping it in the bud before you went down that rabbit hole again.

I have a doctors appointment this morning but other than that, I have no plans for today, but I know that there will be no booze.

24 more for all of us please...

Good morning Cafe. Thanks for the support. No thoughts of drinking last night after my slip. Today we are cleaning and preparing the tiny house for the winter. Taking down my lawn decorations, etc. We fly back tomorrow. I am ready for the warmer weather and seeing our friends down south. My one neighbor wanted to know what time we were arriving and said she will have our dinner in our kitchen waiting for us when we get home. (We have keyless entry and she will just bring it over and leave it). I love that! Didn’t really have any formal goodbyes with the grands because that makes leaving harder. We just casually say see ya! Hope everyone has a wonderful day. 24 more please and thank you.

Thanks for the feedback on the pics, Cowboy. I tried using the insert Image button at the top of the message window here. I guess it didn't work. I'll try again another way. Let me know if it works

What a beautiful setting , Dill. Thank you for sharing!

Rava, I'm curious... what kind of business dinner, may I ask? Sounds like you survived the slip. Good for you for stopping at 2. Safe flight home! Sounds like you have a lovely neighbor.

                            Hi Jude, ABC, Mul

Off to my last knee appointment before we take off. I'm feeling a little improvement. I'll take another day of freedom!

Ginger, I'm glad you are experiencing some improvement. I hope that keeps going!

Rava, your neighbor sounds like a treasure! I agree with you formal goodbyes are no necessary. It's more of a 'see you soon' kind of a thing.

It's a beautiful day here. I love October weather! Cold at night, warm in the daytime. And the light is just gorgeous when the sun is out.
