Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

Good morning Cafe. Slo, I clean my own tiny home up north but in Florida I have a cleaning lady every 2 weeks. It’s not too hard decluttering since we already did it when we downsized and moved. I just keep up with it so it doesn’t mount up. Much easier to declutter in a small space. Hope everyone has a good day. Off to volunteer job this morning. 24 more please and thank you!

Good morning all!
I have a cleaning lady come in once a month and I do small tasks in between time. When she comes she mops and cleans more deeply than I do. I have actually been doing this for many years now. I started when I began working full time and I continued it even after I retired, but once a month only. When I was working full time I had her come every other week.
I can imagine I would drown in clutter if it wasn't for the monthly visit from "an outsider"! LOL.
Let's all have another day of peace, freedom and clarity.

We had a warm, beautiful day here yesterday! Going cooler and more rainy now.
Rava, I would love a tiny house, but can’t figure out where to put it -not really a thing here where I live. My condo is bigger than I want, but I couldn’t find anything smaller.
Dill, yes, having a cleaning person come in means one ends up declutterring before they come! My daughter has found this out.
Nope: not today!Once a pickle, never a cucumber again.

I really need to do some serious decluttering around here but I don't seem to have a lot of ambition lately. Maybe I'm just getting old.
We had some wicked good T-storms blast through here last night. The temperature yesterday was 80

I took a notion to make some potato salad yesterday. I don't know what came over me but out of the blue, I just had to have some! I have never found a deli potato salad that suits me, so I had to make it at home. I used the last of our Easter eggs in it. Mr. D looked perplexed when I put it out. He thinks of it as "picnic food". We air fried a couple of burgers and before you know it he was in heaven! Me too. Mmmm! That potato salad hit the spot! Since it was just the two of us, I left the skins on, which is the way we like it.
Let's have another "not today" day!

Good morning Cafe. Yum that potato salad sounds good!! My neighbor is an excellent cook and makes it regularly and shares it with us along with her homemade sweet Cole slaw. Went out to dinner last night with our 86 year old neighbor. She is lonely and we had a nice time. We got to eat early and be home before dark so that is a win win for us. Hope everyone has a wonderful day. The count down is on to travel north! I am excited! Slo, our tiny house is not that tiny but is 700 square feet. Some of the tiny homes are like 400 sf. Not sure I could go that tiny. I do have to be creative tho in what we bring into the place. There is limited closet space. I am thinking of getting a pantry for the wall that is in between our kitchen and sliding glass door. I just dont have enough room to store canned goods. Etc. We will see on that. Amazon has a nice one. Hope everyone has a great and sober day. 24 more please and thank you.

I like a good thunder and lightning storm Jude, unless it wakes me up in the middle of the night lol.
Potato salad is good any time of the year dill! We usually have some at least a couple of times through the winter and I've also never found any store bought that tastes anywhere as good as homemade.
Storage space does seem like it would be a problem in a tiny home Rava, shelving units/storage cabinets would seem to be the answer if you have the wall space for them.
Sounds like I'll be starting seeding either tomorrow or Friday. I've been out at Corey's the last couple of days for a few hours wiring in the pump on the new fuel tank he set up and he's been getting the drill set up. He was going to start today and get everything fine tuned and when he was satisfied then I would take over. Sounds like we'll be putting in peas first this year.

Is your house a true “tiny house”, Rava; or is it just a preexisting house that you found that’s quite small? 700 square feet sounds perfect, other than for storage.
How wonderful that you & your neighbor shared a meal and assuaged loneliness.
I guess you are right in that store bought potato salad loses flavor. Sounds delicious, Dill! Rava is lucky to have a neighbor who cooks in bulk and then shares.
Getting the pump wired -you are so talented, Cowboy! Sounds like a good plan to have Cory start with the new tractor first.
Once a pickle, never a cucumber again.
